You can contact me at my home email address. I can call tomorrow. I don't mind and I will also ask about Vandalia. the 1930 census also indicated Bessie had a brother named Solomon after their father, but I did not find anything on him.

Yes, there is a Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. Do you have any other info? Let me make a phone call tomorrow to see what I can find out and if someone can tell me where Bessie is buried.

I am glad the lead I gave you helped.

forgot to mention, the Marie E. Taylor photo I took....I believe this is Marie Elizabeth Sager from Middlefield, Ohio. sorry...Also, if you find out where Bessie is buried, let me know and I will see if I can get there to take a pic. I have been to some of the cemeteries in Lake Co. searching for my own ancestors.

There was a paper in Painesville called the Painesville Telegraph. I found Bessie Marie's obituary through the Morley library in Painesville, Ohio. Copy the link below into your browser and a page should open up for "Genealogy and Local History". click on the Obituary Index, type in Bessie Marie Taylor and she pops up. It says she died December 17, 1956. you can order a copy of the obit thru the website. Hopefully the obit will give the name of the funeral home or where she was buried. You can also try to get a copy of her death certificate from Lake County.
Good Luck. If you have trouble with the link below, let me know and I will call the library, get a copy of the obit and somehow forward it to you.

Was Bessie Marie Taylor killed in 1956 or 1965? What was her husband's name? I am looking to see if I can find any old newspaper's online.

You are more than welcome for the photo. I do hope this is your friends mother. There might be some old news articles at the Geauga County Public Library, Chardon branch has a genealogy section. I think the Geauga Times Leader might have been in existence in the 1950's. Let me know if I can be of any other assistance.
