I have been working on genealogy for over 30 years. My husband and I have always been fascinated with cemeteries. We live in an old mining town and was always told that our cemetery had many more people buried there than what the headstones (4) show. I have worked for two years trying to find all the names of all the people buried there. So far I have found 14 burials by searching old newspapers and death certificates. I enjoyed helping a friend with putting together a cemetery book with photos for several local libraries besides the genealogy library.

All memorials I put on Find A Grave I check to see if they are listed. Sometimes I put them on with correct spelling and later find that someone has them on with wrong spelling and then they change the spelling to make it look like I was wrong to put a memorial on. I think it is wrong that people put a name in Find A Grave with no cemetery and then later put it in and someone had already checked the cemetery and the name wasn't there. Yet the name only was put on first.

RE: Lillian Cunningham
Thank you very much for permission to use this excellent photo.
Her husband Robert, married two women both named Lillian S. This headstone proves the death date of his first wife. An enormous help.
Thank you

MaryLou Fagerstedt duplicate
Hi Leila -- My message regarding your duplicate entry in Dry Creek Cemetery for Mrs. Fagerstedt, sent through the "edit" feature in April, was evidently not received by you, so thought I could reach you this way.

Thank you much in advance for removing the duplicate. However, do let me know if she is a close relative and I will remove mine.

I see where you have posted several individuals in the Andrew Wilson Cemetery, located in Wolfe Co., KY. I have been trying to locate this cemetery. Do you have directions or Lat/Long that you could send me.

Thank,
