Thanx for the awesome tips on Jesse Bailey and the pension records. I was more curious as to how you felt Abijah Searles was at Resurrection Cemetery. All the other entries there on Find A Grave are from the 1990s and 2000s. Upon further poking around I found an Abraham Sears 1748-1850 at Brunstetter Cemetery (Old) Memorial #31232898. Perhaps this is our guy? | |

As you can see Frances Smejkal is buried along with John 1843 1918, it seems that someone else has established a memorial for him and Antonia (Antonie also a different birth year 1857) is buried with Vaclav 1856 1916.
