Bio and Links
I've wanted to research my family lines since I was in about the 5th grade at Fort Necessity, LA, when my maternal grandmother refused to share any information with me about her family. Unfortunately, life got in my way. . . aside from raising my 3 wonderful children and working full time I had no time or money to follow up until after I retired! Over the years I managed to gather tidbits of info which I hung onto. Thanks to the many contributors to Find A Grave site, I have managed to grow my family lines, as well as those of my children & their father and those of my current husband. I not only work on my direct lineage, but lateral lines as well.
I have lived in California since the 1950's, so it's extremely important to be able to access records online.'
Some of the main names I research are: Huffman; Cater; Martin; Weatherly; Watson; Townsend; Knight; Pritchett; Phillips; Lapp; Cupit; and that's not even the tip of the iceberg!
Please feel free to contact me if you have questions and/or information which we may be able to exchange.

Rosie Wiggins
The cemetery survey (conducted by someone else) shows she is buried with a double marker with James Glen Wiggins.

Floyd Fife
I've added Floyd's parents to his memorial, and added information I found through a basic search in Ancestry.

FYI, When you request links for family members, it helps if you list their memorial number, rather than giving the biographical information, as it makes it simpler for the person doing the update.

Best luck with all your family searching.

James W. Waters
Elizabeth Lansford?
Dear Maxine,
Elizabeth's maiden name was passed down as a middle name to several descendants. It was always spelled "Lansford" or "Lanesford," never "Lunsford." I can find no birth record for her: some trees have her from Bridgewater, MA (Michael Lunsford and Elizabeth Hackben were married in East Bridgewater), and some from Stafford, CT.
The Foster family history has "Lansford," but doesn't mentioned her origins. Her husband, Nathan, is way off on the side of my tree, and I probably wouldn't have her, except that her grandson Rev. Joel Foster married his cousin Priscilla, daughter of my ancestor Rev. Isaac Foster. I'll keep, looking, because I would like to resolve the spelling of her name.

RE: Florence Mason Brooks
There is no mistake. Look again at the wording in Florence's bio. The marriage date is not hers, but that of her parents.

Frelson Fife - Baskin, Louisiana
Hi Maxine,
Just wanted to let you know that I found Frelson's grave for you but he is not buried in the Baskin Cemetery. He in the Reagans Cemetery which is right beside Baskin Cemetery. He's next to your Peter and Nannie Fife. I saw other Fife graves there also. If you need any of them let me know and I'll go back and take them.
