|searcher||RE: Samuel T. Garrett|
I apologize for taking so long to get back with you on your inscription request. It is shown below.
"Here lies a hero who fought the British in 1812 And strove to gain our liberty.
Who fought and drove the Seminoles
And at last gained the victory.
Hope this helps.

I will try to get out to that cemetery again and see if I can read all of the wording on the headstone. The parts that I can read are shown below:
"Here lies a hero who fought the British in 1812, and strove to gain our liberty.
Who fought and drove the Seminoles, ???"
I can read all but the last two lines. Will get back to you as soon as possible.

|Linda & Friends||Lulu McClure|
I have the death notice for Louise McClure which I believe her nickname was Lulu.
She died at age 81 years on January 19, 1926 from Pneumonia and was buried on the 20th.
This death notice is from the Maryville Enterprise, dated January 27, 1926. Which this also means that her birth year would be 1844. I got the copy up at Maryville Library.
If you would like to email me, my address is on my member profile, I'll be more than happy to email you back a copy of the newspaper.
