Ida Thankful Wilson
Hi! This is my fourth attempt to post, so bear with me. A while back, I received an edit request for Ida, giving her maiden name as Stowe. If you have documentation giving a different name, please contact me as In the mean time, I have added her middle name, and thank you for that! I am 2200 miles from home, trying to process edits on my cell phone, so,please forgive both the typos and the terseness. Thank you again for,the edit!

RE: Margaret Fox
This is not a nice modern cemetery. It's very old (1830s) and was neglected for many years. There is no signage to help find graves. This would require a two hour round trip, a visit to the city office where they would have to check the database trying to find nearby graves with headstones (most burials have no stones), and possibly a trip with a cemetery worker. City officials have already spent a great deal of time with us, including opening the mausoleum for us, and I am reluctant to ask again. I honestly think our time would be better served documenting graves with existing stones. Perhaps you can put in another request that might be fulfilled by another volunteer.

Hawley - Herbert & Catherine
Hi Barbara,
I Looked up both Hawleys in California Death Index. There was a mistake on Catherine's memorial because the stone is hard to read. The mistake was in the birth year not the death year and has been corrected.

I found Herbert Hawley in the Calif Death Index also as well as in the census. I also found his Draft card information. All indicate that he was born in California.

Thank you for bringing the mistake on Catherine's memorial to my attention
