Bio Photo I haven't forgotten any of you I am just having a hard time with my daughter's death. I'll try to get to your memorials as I can. Thank you.

My children Heather and Jason are now together in a new virtual cemetery now.

Hi, I lost my beautiful daughter Heather 4/11/2014 to cancer. Hopefully soon I'll be able to get on here again and show you all the love you've given me for so many years. She and my son Jason Christopher Foley who is also deceased and has his own memorial shared the same birthday March 13.

This sort of thing has always drawn me in. I like the history, reading the epitaphs and finding unique names on tombstones, etc.. I find it interesting that tombstones differ in other states and countries also. Nothing ghoulish or disrespectful. In most other countries and cultures they view death as a part of life, this country seems to make people terrified of it. I think that we realize it's going to happen, but it's the how that frightens us. I do believe in a spirit world, I have since I was 4 years old. It's nice to be able to go to this site, because of our shared interests.
I read biographies, anything Sylvia Brown writes, I read 16th century British royal history mostly, but enjoy reading about other monarchs. I also like to read about Civil War, forensic material and about different religions.
I like all sorts of music from bagpipes to Aerosmith. I do not like too much of what is listened to now and I can't stand country music or the whole "gitter done" thing.
It's a pleasure to be a part of this wonderful website with you.

I appreciate the tokens you have left for my memorials. Please be patient, I will stop by yours eventually. It's just really hard to get all of that accomplished, it's so interesting looking at the pictures of your families and reading about them. Again thank you.

************************************************
Please, ask before you add photos to my memorials. I prefer to have the headstone photos after my family's photos.
************************************************

Memorials should be treated with respect. If you suggest corrections, please leave them on this bio. page. Also please list sites of places you've seen to deem corrections are necessary. I'd like to see them for myself before correcting them. Thank you for your politeness in respecting my wishes.

More on Johann Eckl
More amazing coincidences! What you have as your Johann's birthplace ("believed to be"), Tšnnesberg, is about 14 km (9 miles, round) north of the birthplace of my Johann.

Johann Eckl (# 42240884)
Hi Anne,

I was looking for someone who is probably a different Johann Eckl. Interesting though, because both were born 1893, both in Bavaria (Bayern), and your Johann's place of death is about 80 miles (130 km) from the place of birth I have for mine.

The only information I have about him comes from his daughter, now age 82. I'm not sure if she has some sort of records, or this is from memory. She has:

Johann Baptist Eckl
Born February 10, 1893 in Obermurach, Bayern, Deutschland

What caught my attention was the statement that he died in Straubing. I have been to that part of Germany many times and knew Straubing, though I was only there once that I recall. My ex is from the area and she is Johann Eckl's granddaughter.

I went to Google Maps and I have a clip of a map saved showing where Johann B. Eckl was born, where his granddaughter was born, and where your Johann Eckl (# 42240884) died.

My email is on my Find a Grave profile, so if you drop me a note, I'll send the map to you. You could also just find Straubing on Google Maps.

Richard Cowsill
I have noticed that you left flowers for one of the Cowsills. Richard Cowsill of the famous Cowsill singing family now has a memorial on Find-A-Grave. His memorial is # 134960022. Would you leave a frame rating??
Thanks
Howard

RE: Connecting memorials
No worries - perhaps you can add it as a note or something for Jason. They are together you know :-) and there is no more pain, no more tears. Bless you.

Connecting memorials
I was reading the memorials of your daughter and son. What horrible loss you have suffered and my heart goes out to you. In reading them, I had a thought that you might want to connect them each on the other's bio so navigating from one to the other is easier than having to go to your virtual cemetery. I have written the code for you and if you copy and paste it into the appropriate place on each bio it might make getting from on to the other easier. I hope you do not find me too bold. I hope this is something you find useful - if not, please accept my apologies and delete the message. God Bless - 'becca
