We had a successful disinterment and reinterment of Jacob Youtcy in Kelvin/Kearny, Arizona. Over 300 people attended the funeral. Horses, caisson, Civil War re-enactors, Catholic priest in period vestments, the train honked as it went past the cemetery and two military planes flew over the parade and waggled their wings at Jacob as we went through town. Over 100 of his descendants and their families attended as well. God gave us a fantastically humbling day.

A Standers Affirmation

I made mistakes. Horrible ones. And poor choices. And was selfish and arrogant and lazy at times. I thought I was giving everything to my wife and marriage and children, but now I see so many places I could have done better, done more, made better choices, used kinder words.

I am still in love with my wife. I said "for better or for worse" and meant it. I said "in good times and in bad" and meant it. And I said "until death do us part" and I meant it. I still mean those things.

I will not speak angry words to my wife or about my wife. I will not use the children as pawns. I will not return slights with slights. I will speak love and goodness to her, about her.

So I am "standing" for our marriage. What that really means is I'm kneeling in prayer for our marriage. I will trust in God's faithfulness and His ability to do ANYTHING, including change hearts and reroute divorce. I was wrong in so many ways. Please forgive me, Barbara. I love you.

Christopher Gentry
Dear Daryl & Barbara
My name is Christopher Gentry. David Biggs brother Bennett Biggs Sr. is my 4th Great Grandfather. I was wondering how far you guys may have gotten on his family tree.

I will list my relationship to the Biggs Family.

Christopher Lee Gentry - Me
Star Lynn Biggs - Mother
Clarence Daniel Biggs - Grandfather
William Edward Biggs - Great Grandfather
Charles Owen Biggs - 2x Great Grandfather
John (or Johnathan) Biggs - 3x Great Grandfather
Bennet Biggs Sr. - 4th Great Grandfather
Robert Biggs - 5th Great Grandfather

It took me a long time to find out who John or Johnathan's father was because I could never find a death date. It took a Certified Adoption Genealogist to help me break that wall. My mother knows nothing of her fathers side except who her dad and his parents were, so I having been going at this solo for almost a year and a half.

If there is anything you may have found to help me in my search for this side of the family I would greatly appreciate it.

I have made several find a grave memorials dealing with my Grandfather Clarence Daniel Biggs family. I have information all the way up to my 2x Great Grandfather Charles Owen Biggs. If you would like to add them to your collection Id be glad to give you links.

James WIllifesler Photo -
I received this

I am doing research on some of my family and have discovered a photograph of my deceased father, James William Fesler of New Haven Connecticut and professor at Yale University, mistakenly placed as the photo of his uncle James William Fesler of Indianapolis. The Indianapolis Fesler was born in 1864, my father was born in 1911, died in 2005. I found this error on your site describing Caroline Marmon Fesler:(Lake MAxinkuckee)

The same error is on the Find a Grave index:

I don't know how to contact the Find A Grave person who put the photo there.

Unfortunately I have been unable, to date, to find a photograph of the correct James William Fesler. However, but I do have a fine illustration, done by the artist Paul Shideler, and I'm attaching a digital file taken from the illustration.

I hope you can replace the photo on your Caroline Marmon Fesler with the correct person. Thanks for your hard work on this site!

Regards, James Martin Fesler

Zentralfriedhof burial
I have some questions about your entry for Irma Stern interred in Vienna's Zentralfriedhof.

Can we communicate off list? Your bio says to contact you via e-mail but I can't locate your email address.

Celia Anna Levetus Nicholson

I see you have posted some information regarding Celia Anna Levetus Nicholson who was married to Eric Pearson Nicholson. Do you happen to have any further information regarding Eric Pearson Nicholson or have any contact with the family of Celia Anna Levetus Nicholson?

Thank you.

John and Catherine Batman
My 5th generation great grandfather was Henry Alexander Batman. We have some source that say his father was John Batman born about 1740 and his mother Catherine, or Nancy Catherine Lee.
I was wondering what evidence you have for these two memorials: John #65988188 and Catherine #65988213.

you don't have any family members linked to them, so I am wondering also, why you have created these two memorials with no relatives and unknown burial locations.
I hope you have some proofs that I can use to link Henry with these two as his parents.

Memorial# 40833654
Could you check the records or stone once again to make certain of the death date, please? I have a Thomas C Sharpe in my family that was born Nov. 15, 1860 and died in 1866 I think, but thought it was Sep not Dec.

Martha Benshoff/John Strayer
These two memorials you have created for Martha Benshoff and her husband John Strayer are duplicates. The original memorial's are 98427131 and
98427044. They are buried at Grandview Cemetery. You may want to delete your memorials for them, as you don't have a cemetery listed. Your memorial#'s are 57360087 and 57360076.
