Wickell
The last information I have on Charles Wickell is that he was living when his wife Ella May Stamper Wickell died in 1925. Her obit says she was a member of the Methodist Church of Chambersburg, MO and that her funeral was held at Chambersburg and interment in Chambersburg cemetery. I would assume (but never completely trust assumptions) that he is buried there also. I don't even know if there is a stone for her. Sorry I don't know more. Twila

RE: Elmer T Allen
Hello again,
I am glad that you found the death certificate. I think that Ruby was a McGrady but am not shure. I do know however, far shure that she is a descendant of the McGrady family. They lived about a half mile fropm the McGrady cemetery, where I live know but in a different house. There house has been gone far years.
As far where she died, I assume that would be Montague county,Texas. If you don't think that she died in Texas you might try Oklahoma as we are very clost to that state.

If you will send me your phone number, I will ask Ruby's neice, Tommy Moulder, to call you. She is a very nice lady. She can get you in contact with other McGrady descendants as well. There are quite a few around here still. Tommy is the oldest and does remember Ruby.
Thanks,
Tim Bear

Elmer T Allen
Hi
Susie,
I finally was able to ask about Elmer T Allen.
The man burried in the McGrady Cemetery was from Oklahoma. That is from the memory of Tommy Moulder. She is 92 and does have a good memory. He married her aunt. That is about all she knows about him. She did not mention a son. She did say that there are some Allaens burried in the Dye cemetery, the only other cemetery in Dye Mound that I know of. I don't remember seeing tomstones far them. There are a bunch of unmarked graves.
If anyone had info on Elmer T. Allen, it would be Tommie. Sorry I did not find much about him. If I ever do find more I will contact you.
Thanks,
Tim Bear

Re: Elmer T. Allen

Hi
Susie,
I have not seen any of the McGrady descendants yet but I did go down to the cemetery.
He was born Feb. 2, 1902 and died April 8, 1971.
His wifes name is Ruby L. Allen..
I thought maybe I could find his son.I did not find any other Allens in the cemetery. There are graves that are not marked.
After seeing the stone I remembered that I was told that Ruby L. Allen lived in a house on the land we know live on, in the same spot that we have built on.
I will try to find out more far you.
Thanks,
Tim

Elmer T Allen
Hi
Susie,
I just realized that you were talking about the Elmer T Allen who is barried in the McGrady Cemetery.
I am not kin to him, I just photographed the entire cemetery. I do however know some of the McGrady descendants. I will ask them about him when I see one of them again. Everyone in the cemetery is kin to the McGrady's in some way.
Thanks,
Tim
