|Kelly K||Dicie Shaw|
I made a request for adding Dicie Shaw's father link to be added and if possible for a transfer. But I see that you are also probably a descendant. This is actually my 7th attempt since May 2010 for this link. Her mother has been added and I would appreciate a response. I have not seen any contact you have made since 2010 on findagrave. Are you still active?

|Crys James||Lydia Melvina Page|
Lydia is my grandmother...I never had the pleasure of meeting her. My real Father's family were estranged to me as my Mother refused to let me contact them (my Mother and my real Father were divorced when I was a baby).
Have been trying to do genealogy on the James side of the family for a few years, but am a "newby" at this.
How did you happen to add this entry to Find A Grave? Are you near Kirkland Cemetery near Childress, TX?
Thank you for posting the information. I have become a new member as of May 28, 2013. Hopefully, I will be able to locate more information on my family.

You have this memorial (#29229928)listed incorrectly as "John" vs "James." You have the spouse as Lorena Hutton. Here is their 1910 census record: 1910 Federal Census, Cheyenne, Roger Mills, OK, (states they had been married for 15 yrs):
James R Caffey 49
Lorena W Caffey 36
Hattie V Caffey 15
John H Caffey 13
William V Caffey 11
Ella I Caffey 5
Opal Caffey 2
Lesly D Caffey 2/12
Claud Caffey 23
1927 Tulsa, OK City Directory states Lorena W Caffey ("widow of Jas R Caffey")
1934 Tulsa, OK City Directory statees Lorena W Caffey ("widow of Jas R Caffey")
James did have a brother, John W, listed in 1880 census of Comanche, Texas, but James is the one that married Lorena. James Rochelle operated a wagon yard and was County Assessor in 1912.
"SNAKE(Y) BEND CEMETERY: This cemetery is located in the NE 1/4 351423. It is in a pasture where the cattle have knocked over every stone. There are 10 stones scattered about the graves and one stone is missing. It is estimated that about thirty graves are here. Some red rocks show where the graves are. It is in a horrible condition.At one time E.E. TRACY owned the land and his 2 year old daughter, Julia M., is the first one buried here." [taken from the book, "Cemeteries...And More" written by Glena Belle Crane]
Thanks for making the correction.

I am looking for more information on J M Shaw at Pleasant Point Cemetery. I believe he may be my 3rd great grandmother's brother. Her name is Susan Shaw Hannah Stewart. I know that her brother John Andrew Jackson Shaw and his wife Julia Jane James are buried at Pleasant Point. Any information that you could share would be greatly appreciated!

Yes I am related by way of the Brown side. My great grandmother was Dillie Brown, Zula's sister. My Grandmother, was Grace Elizabeth Thomas Ross. Dillie married Samuel S Thomas.

Would you mind sending me a copy of the original photo of Allison Bailey for my records? I would like to be able to blow it up to see more detail on the flag holder in front of his grave.

Thanks a lot for the quick photo of Allison.
