Blanche Winters, Wednesday, April
14, at Mansfield Funeral Home, at
2 p. m. with the Rev. Clarence
Casket bearers were Norman
Pierce, William Blackburn, Ed Edie,
Tommy Salyers, Bill Baer and
Duane Fritz. Caring for the flowers
were Mrs. Make Baxley end Mrs.
Lee Jensen. Mrs. William Blaekbuiin
was organist and Mrs. Ken-'
nc,th Seott, soloist, singing The 'Old
Rugged Cross' and The Lord's •'.
Prayer. Mrs. Forrest Hatfield was
at tte registry book.
Interment was in the North Gniove
Blanche Barnett was born to
Joseph and Maggie .Rhodes Barnett
Apwl 23, 1881, at Keosauqua, and departed
this life April 12, 1971 at
the. age of '89 years, at Mercy hospital,
Council Bluffs, afteii an extended
On Dec. 25, 1899, Blanche was.
united 'in marriage to George Elmer
Winters and to this union
•were bom eight children. George
and Blanche lived a number of
years at Emenson before establishing
a home in Pelican Rapids,
Minn., where they lived for 30
years, returning to Malvei-n in 1947.
She was a member1 of the United
Methodist Church in Malvern, and
until failing health prevented took
an active pa.it in WSCS. She always
enjoyed .the young children
o f t h e community and was known
to almost everyone as "Grandma
She was preceded in death by
her parents, her; husband George,
three sons; Floyd, Joe and Roy
and one daughter Hazel.
She leaves to mourn her passing,
three daughters, Mrs. W. J.
Holman (Thelma) Minneapolis,
Minn.; Mrs. Leonard Haugsven
•Ruth), Brewster, Wash., and Mrs.
D. L. Marble (Gayle)& Seattle
Wash.; one son Paul Wlnters Loveland,
Colo.; 26 grandchildren; 47
great grandchildren and five great
great grandchildren; one sister,
Ronald Green, Council Bluffs, Mr.
Mrs. Annie Fender and one brother'
Everett Barnett, both of Council
Bluffs; ,a host of nieces and nephews
and a wide circle of friends.

According to the 1910 Census, George and Blanche had 4 children, Floyd, Roy, Joe, and Hazel. So I transferred them all to you...plus the rest. If you need any more help verifying it...I have other resources:)
