Barron. WI is where I grew up. My husband, Jim, and I built a cabin in Springbrook in 1980 with the idea that we would make it our home after retirement. That's what we did and love this area. But we spend much of the summer in our camper at Washburn, WI on Lake Superior. I love touring on my 4-Wheeler there with my dog, PEPI, in her basket, loving the breeze in her face.
I've been doing ancestry for several years. Mostly just feeling around to see what info there is out there. This has been added to my special site list. I'd like to do some photo work in my area, Washburn, Sawyer, Ashland and Bayfield Counties.WI.
Ancestry.com is where I gather the info I can about a person. I feel that everyone has a history and I like to enter a little bio for people that have no obituary available. (BUT I WELCOME OBITUARIES YOU SEND MY WAY). I'm hoping to also help ancestors who read them. Please ask for a transfer if you wish to add info that isn't available to me. You are welcome to use my photos for your family tree. I do appreciate any kind words if you wish to send any my way. NW

What is the suggested change you have in mind for Sylvanus Tunison's page? I should also suggest a couple of changes to Betty Krukowski's page: (1) She was born in the Township of McKinley near Jump River, Wisconsin; she was cremated and her ashes are scattered over the graves of her mother, Anna Jeffery and her son, James Krukowski. Hi Nancy, thanks for getting back with me. You don't have to remove anything right now. I'm still doing some searching and I'll let you know. Her first name she went by was Jessie, we never heard of the name Josephine. I'm not sure where that came from.

Hi, my name is Laura. Matt Loch was my great-grandfather. I was wondering who wrote the info on his grave memorial page? The information about his wife might be wrong. We have no record of her name being Josephine Lumbar, but Jessie Mersereau Loch. The only information we have on her father is his name, Otis Mersereau. I am looking for more information on her father and mother.

It was not uncommon for many German (and I assume others) to Anglicize the spelling of their surnames. I will change any Mueller memorials that I have created to Miller, if you could please use the edit option from these memorials and request the change.
