Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have had an interest in family history and genealogy for over 30 years.

Please leave or send me a message for any additions, corrections or information you might be able to provide. I'd be glad to help on a limited basis with any family history research or photography for the Hixton, Jackson County, Wisconsin area.

A few of the family names I am researching for my family history are SMITH, MORRIS, HARKNESS, JORDAN, BOND, KYNERD of the Mississippi Gulf Coast area, as well as BOSWORTH, HOAGLAND, SEARS, BLOW, KNOTT & ALEXANDER of the Elgin, Illinois, area.

Bertha Bosworth

I have added Bertha's parents and a sibling to the Richmond Cemetery in McHenry County, Illinois: Eugene and Harriet Swan. I thought you may be interested.

Mary Ann Hunter Mitchell
Mary Ann Hunter was sister to my gr-gr grandfather. I understand that her mother Christiana Hunter is buried in Hixton. I was not able to find a stone there when I walked through Trinity Rest Cemetery. April 15, 1891 I have as her date of death. Do you know if there is another small stone or anything near Mary Ann Mitchell?

Erick and Pauline Larson gravestones

I believe I am the Great Great Great Grandaughter of the Larsons: Erick M. Larson (1861-1950) and Pauline A. Larson (1860-1959). I am trying to reclaim our Jewish heritage and would like to know if you can give me any information about these two gravestones and the people whom they are placed for. The grave memorial numbers are (Erick-60665340) and Pauline (60665185).

Are they husband/wife? Do you have any more information at all about these two individuals? You may also contact me at

Thank You Very Very Much!

Alexanders at Richmond
I linked Mary Shuey to her husband Alexander. Do you know his middle name or anything of their bio's or parents? Why they were in Richmond? Thanks, Rommy

Edward and Susan Lester
As you suggested I added Susan Gilbert to the record for Edward Lester. If you know where Susan is buried maybe you could add an entry for her here on findagrave and then add the family link to Edward (Memorial# 55694483).

RE: Betty Jane Downer
You are so welcome to the information! I know that many persons researching cemeteries do not know the persons buried there so aren't able to provide information like a relative is able to. I was to Trinity Rest several years ago and that's when I learned about Betty Jane. I was looking for Thoralf's grave and found it there!
Thanks for all the hard work and pictures. It is a huge job to get all the names and dates!!
