In gratitude
Thank you so much for photographing the grave of Herman Geske! It will mean a lot to my sisters who are scattered across four states.

Thank you for getting the picture of his headstone. I tried-here's my excuse other than being ill for a long time. The sun prevented me from seeing what I was trying to photograph. So I just held my phone over the site and snapped away. When I got home I had 13 pictures of myself! Phone was broken and got fixed today. I apologize for dropping the ball and glad you picked it up.

Thank you,
Jennie

Wife of Christophel/Christopher Shoop
Where did you get the name of the wife? There is no known proof or source as to the name of Christophel (Stophel)wife. The only bio given about the family was the one given in 1889 by John Shoop (1796 - 1891) who was a grandson of Stophel Shoop. JOhn was a son of Stophel's son John Shoop Sr. (1771 - 1826). Stophel died when his grandson John was 24 years old, and he didn't know his grandmother's name.

Thank you so much for the photo of my uncle's headstone and burial site. All these years and I didn't even know he was buried there. Is it all right if I post your photo to my Ancestry.com family tree?

I recently took a course on Copyright law and realize that I should ask you.
