Kennerly/Vandiver I wish I did, unfortunately I am kin to him. I do know she and Pronce married in Calhoun County, Alabama on December 20, 1908. I wish I had more information. All I have found are marriages, censuses etc.
Kennerly/Malone Mary Bamer Kennerly was widow of John Malone, and mother of Julia, Elizabeth and Eli Kennerly (buried all in this cemetery-Washington Street, Columbia SC. I show that the estate returns of Mary give her heirs also as Julia Boatright, with grandchildren Julia Ancrum and John W. and Eliza Arthur.
A Jesse Arthur was a will witness to John Malone's will. He left land to his wife, 3 acres of land he bought of Capt. James Taylor.
John's will witnesses were Mary Hutchinson, Jesse Arthur, John Hughes and Simon Taylor...and executors were Frederick Nance, John Blocker, wife Mary (Bamer Kennerly Malone) and son Robert Malone.
My husband's ancestor, Rev. Jacob Gibson of Fairfield Dist., SC LWt was witnnessed by a Katherine Kennerly, but later a McLemore of another district..when his will probated in 1794. He died in 1793 but she had to prove the will. He came to SC from Va. with some Kennerly's. I know this family r/to Mary Bamer Kennerly's husband, Capt. John Kennerly. He left hMary he left 125 acres of land in Richland Distr. on the road from Columbia to Winnsborough (Winnsboro). Rev. Jacob Gibson's wife was a Judith Napier, d/o Robert and Mary HUGHES Napier. They came to SC ca. 1759-1761 and can give you the deeds. Rev. Jacob left lands of his and his father's to anyone who would take his son Benjamin and care for him.
Kennerly Since I last wrote the other message to you, I have come to believe that this may be a relative of the Kennerly I have. Not sure. Maybe you can enlighten me on this and maybe we just happen to have some similar names.
Cowen Kennerly I am not sure you will be interested but I own what I believe to be his first wife's family scrapbook. I think that your family would benefit from this too. I have his first wife and his marriage announcement in the newspaper, I have pictures of his children. I have not looked yet but it may even have pictures of him also. This scrapbook is very old and dates back to the mid 1800's all the way to the mid 40's. I have added his first wife to the Find A Grave and I am linking them but if you feel this is in error, let me know. I am stumped a little since the marriage announcement states his name is Sloan T. Kennerly. Also, I notice your name only has one n in it. Mary Russell
