My goal has grown from posting just my immediate family and close friends to creating memorials for all my ancestors who were early immigrants to Texas from the Upper Silesia area of Prussian-controlled Poland in the 1850's and their first and second generation descendants.|
I am grateful to the researchers of the Panna Maria Historical Society who meticulously profiled hundreds of Polish families in Silesian Profiles. Luckily mine was included.
My deep appreciation to Jim S., a volunteer for Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness (RAOGK.org) in San Antonio, for finding so many documents for my family. He pursued my relatives with energy and intensity, as if they were his own kin.
Special thanks to Polaneczka (FAG contributor) who generously transcribed Polish inscriptions for our family memorials.
Loving cemeteries since I was a little kid, I seem to be drawn mysteriously to photograph gravestones for folks who are not my family, and create memorials for them too. If your relatives fall into this category, let me know.
Special thanks to each and everyone who took photos and posted them for my family - you know who you are.

I'm sorry for the confusion. I thought I had sent you a message for an edit but it was someone else. My brain has not been working properly lately. There is so much information that I'm trying to absorb as I just recently learned some family history. It can be overwhelming and chaotic to sort at times. Again, I apologize for the confusion.

|Nancy Hutzler||Zinsmeyer name|
Are you by chance kin to the Zinsmeyer family buried in the Our a Lady Of Grace Cemetery, LaCoste, Tx ?
I noticed you had a few as under your management.
I have a newspaper clipping from 1991 for Bernard and Helen Zinsmeyer' 50th anniversary. I am trying to find kin in order to send it to them.

Eliza Jane Clark Massey was the last daughter born to Amasa Clark and Eliza Jane Wright Clark. I am a great grandson to Amasa and Eliza Jane Wright Clark. My grandmother was Eliza Jane Clark 1878-1969. She was born in Bandera, Tx. married William Massey. She died in LA County, Ca. I think she was left off the list of children because of a mix up with her mother as they have the same first name and middle name. Can her name be added to the list of children in Amasa Clark's profile?
Thank you so much,
Michael E. Massey (70 years)

You're very welcome. The birth info came from her Texas Birth Certificate which I found on Ancestry.com. I did not find her Death Certificate but I did find her SS Death Index & the Texas Death Index.
|A Newell||Correction on misspellkng|
Hi Amasa Gleason Clark was my great, great grandfather on my mother's side of the family.
There's a typo or misspelling on my great grandfather's name. It should be Isaac with two A's instead of Issac with two S's.
I have Amasa's book and the correct spelling for my great grandfather is Isaac.
