My full time hobby is reenacting and living history. Families I am most interested in are: Hooe, Samples, Brunson,Pridemore, Scritchfield, Westbrook, Jackson, Raum, Marye, Mitchella, Monroe, Joyce and Chamberlain.|
To all the Gravers out there contributing to find a Grave, thank you so very much! I can not tell you all how excited I get when I "find" a memorial with a beautifully rendered photo of the grave site. And even more exciting is being able to read the tombstones!
I have taken photos in cemeteries and matched them to memorials on the site. If there was no memorial, I created one. I am happy to transfer those to family, following Find a Grave guidelines if there is a conflict in requests. Most of the memorials I created are my own family members, and those I will hang on to.

Hello from Iowa! My husband & I went to the Nevada Cemetery today to fulfill your requests. It was 23 degrees with snow on the ground! The Bales and Nickeson stones were covered in some spots with ice -- what appear to be shadows in the photos -- so the quality was affected to some degree. I have posted them, but if you'd like to re-request next Spring when the snow is gone, I'd be happy to try again. We also took one for Thelma Biddle. Nancy

With that name being known in the Fredericksburg and Alexandria area of Virginia, I'd love to hear how you are related to those here.
Please read my biopage for more info about me...

Lena, Johanna, Oswald and the Kappels are all buried in the same Lot at Old Union Cem, Lincon, IL. The only stone is for Johanna, maybe two. Please create a memorial for her and I will post those photos. I will email a copy of a diagram of the burials in this lot I got from the cemetery records.

There is no cooperation from the San Luis Cemetery with Find A Grave volunteers. However, according to the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society you can request a photo you are looking for by doing the following:
email to email@example.com
subject line San Luis Cemetery Headstone photo
They will send you the photo as an attachment to email. They took photos of the thousands of headstones they indexed in 2009.
As a reference here is the website for the index

Did you receive my email? There seems to be no evidence that Col Hooe is buried at St. Mary's. The commemorative stone is related to his service as mayor. I sent you an obit and some sources and ideas. Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can help you further.

Hi! I see you have a photo request for Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland Maryland. I'm taking a trip there soon and I'm planning on trying to fulfill as many requests as I can. Since this cemetery is so large (about 80,000 graves) it would help to have the section and plots of the burials. I have spoken to Carmelita Walker from CHC. She said she can't give locations of these sites to me since I'm not related but she said if you call her at 301-568-5400 & tell her that you're a relative (or think you may be!) she can give it to you. She said there's no charge for this information. If you could get the info soon (by 9/6) that would be great! If you are no longer interested in fulfilling the request for whatever reason, just let me know too so I can cross it off my list. Thanks!

You're very welcome. Those photos were taken a few years back by my grandparents who were searching for R. R. Jackson's grave. There was a homeowner up that way that knew where the graves were. I see you're a reenactor too ! Hope to see you at Liendo Plantation in Nov.! Dusty
