Questions about Leach side
Hello! My husband, Garry, and I are researching his family history. Amanda (Howard) Leach was his great-grandmother, married to his great-grandfather named Henry Clay Leach. My husband is aware of the fact that they had a son named Henry Jackson Leach but he has questions concerning the other children they had. He has always been told their other children were: Amanda, May, Frank & Mary (twins), William, Kate, & George. He is wanting to find out more information about the twins, Frank & Mary, since Frank is his grandfather. You can contact me at candaceleach2011@gmail.com. Thank you for your assistance and we look forward to hearing from you!

Lovell Sharp
Have you already asked Contributor Okiebran to link
Lovell to Garland and their two children? I didn't want to duplicate the request. Lovell was my mother's cousin.

Ricketts Cemetery
Charles, I just joined the group. I have relations buried in the cemetery. I mowed the cemetery last week and it looks better than my lawn. I am working with Dorothy Miller BCCPG on the cemetery. A survey needs to be done and fenced. I have been working with the city, since they bought land all around the cemetery. My email is:garyblack@sbcglobal.net. Please get in touch. Maybe together we can get things done. I am one of the original members of the BCCPG. Maybe we can get several interested people together and form an association or adopt the cemetery.

Jacob Buttram
Hi Charles,

I noticed that you left a message on Jacob Buttram's (1775-1855) page. I'm trying to track down proof that William and Margaret are in fact his parents (so I can apply to the DAR - William was a road overseer during the Revolutionary War).

I do have the Buttram Family book that was published a few years back but the DAR won't take that as proof. Any information you have would be extremely appreciated!

Thank you!

Sincerely,
Jessica Carroll

My Aunt Florence
Hi Charles,

I printed out a couple of your notes and sent them to my aunt, Florence Henry, she is familiar with the Oakes family. She doesn't use internet but I told her about you and findagrave. She says she can tell you a lot about the people around Benton County as she grew up there. She knew the Oakes family, they were friends with the Wrights.

If you would like to ask her any questions I guess it would have to be in writing. Would you be interested in that?

Have a lovely weekend.
