Photo request in Fannin Cemetery
Don Flynn photographed this cemetery. Faye entered the memorial from the book that has the Troup County Cemeteries listed. In the book, Anna is buried beside her husband, James Werter. The survey of this cemetery was done on July 17, 1978. Anything could have happened to her stone. The book states that 2 acres was set aside for the cemetery and that there are many more graves that are unmarked.

Don can clear up anything else about the cemetery. I hope that this helps.

RE: Francis Marion Boyce
Your Welcome! If I remember correctly you were looking for a different spelling of the last name. I've gotten used to that I have documents that show same ancestors spelling that last name at different at different times. I was fortunate to be traveling from Ohio to South Carolina a few months ago and the cemetery was in route. I had never been there before but knew a couple of my ancestors were supposedly buried there. When I got there I saw a lot of last names common to my family tree so i started snapping pictures like I hit the jackpot....hahaha.

Nettie Wickenhoffer
I found this in a collection of obituaries that I have collected over the years. If you do not already have this obit, I thought you would like to have it.

Mrs. Nettie Wickenhofer Dies at Clarksburg. Mrs. Nettie Wickenhofer, 41, wife of Clarence Wickenhoffer of Mount Clare, died February 1 at 7:20 p.m. in a Clarksburg hospital, of complications following an attack of influenza.

Mrs. Wickenhofer was born in Calhoun county, the daughter of the late Marion Boyce and Mrs. Cora Scott Boyce of Northview.

Surviving besides her husand and mother are two children, Robert and Betty Jean, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Ice of Norwood, and Mrs. Bessie Gilbert of Northview; one brother, Thomas Boyce, of Threemile, W.Va.

Funeral services were held at the Davis Funeral Home in Clarksburg at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Charley Tate officiating. Interment was made in the Sunset Memorial cemetery.

J.S. Rider

J.S. Rider who you have buried in Uvalde cemetery. I found a wife and child and made memorials for them. I have also linked them to his memorial as well.

RE: 1st photo request fulfilled
I forgot to mention that Lucy Bocchieri was buried in a double plot with a double joined headstone. I don't know if the other person is of any interest to you or not but her stone read:

In Memory of Beloved Bride & Mother
Jean M. Panetta
Jul 7, 1919 Mar 16, 1989

If so I added this record - memorial #53687945

You are very welcome, it was a real trip so to speak! Two very nice old ladies took me to the grave in a shaded golf cart!

Yes, I hope to grab a picture tomorrow. It's been snowing a bit here and was unable to get one earlier in the week. We are expecting another large storm tomorrow so I'm hoping it holds off long enough for me to photograph it for you.

Best regards,
Joe Blair

Fannin pictures
Yes, Gary there are other Fannins burried there in the cemetery, and it is a church cemetery. I could take other pictures if you think they may be related and you would like to have the pictures.
Thanks, Teeter
