Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my genealogy since 1999. My family search includes cemeteries in San Antonio, Tarpley, Bandera, Utopia, Coryell County, and the surrounding areas. I can't get to my Louisiana family very much, but I do try to research them as much as possible.

You are correct. The little boxes were suppose to look like grave markers as none were present. The tall headstone was furnished by his insurance company. If you bought life insurance from them, the promised to provide a large headstone, per info from the cemetery office. I did put a "No Marker" picture down below and will send you a not next time. They rest in a nice shady area. Let me know if I can be of further help as this is my great passion since retirement in January. Have an awesome week, Kay (Katie)

Washington Jouberts
Pat, if you would like me to transfer any of your Joubert family from the Washington cemeteries, just send over a transfer request. I'd be happy to have you take care of them!

I think you may have your memorials in the wrong cemetery. If they were buried in Maysfield then probably Pebble Grove (white) not Milam Grove (colored).

Hi Pat,

The date of Jan 23, 1969 is correct.
I have corrected it on the memorial.

Thank you for telling me.

just a note: I'am almost finished photographing St. Landry Catholic Church cemetery. I have photographed 19 total sections with 2 sections left to go and then I will have photographed the entire cemetery. 2 years, whew!!

Have a great day,

Blanche Harris Calame
If Blanche was your father's cousin, who was your father? She was my mother's cousin as well. My mother was Dorothy Budde Dodd and her mother was Rebecca Harris Budde. Jesse Harris and Rebecca were siblings.
