Bio and Links
Bio Photo Photo is of my father memorial # 314769
and my mother memorial # 24900483 and my Granny. I was told this was their wedding day.

I am a mom of 2 girls, and the chosen mom of a few others, grandma of 2 and counting. I have been married for 35 years to the same man and have been taking photos for findagrave for four years now. I have always taken photos of family markers and found this sight when I did a search on my dad just to see what came up. I would do more but so many cemeteries are in such bad shape that I just can't get good photos.
I try to stick to small cemeteries and when I go for a photo request, just photograph all the stones.

I have family and friends in at least 11 of the cemeteries in Orangeburg, Clarendon and Florence counties. Trininty Lutheran, Antioch, Gerizim, Santee First Baptist, Jerusalem Methodist, Dantzler-Hart, Holly, Springhill, Oak Grove Methodist, Florence National Cemetery...

I list memorials for people that I am willing to take photos of their monuments when available, I never used list but think I will start doing so in the near future. I have relatives and close friends that cannot be linked because I don't have proof and someone got them listed before I did.

We all do a service for this site by making these memorials, I have changed a few several times and it does get annoying, but don't cramp up the system just yet.
I am glad to add any additional information you have and to correct any mistakes I have made,(MOSTLY TYPOS) and putting the wrong birth year in when they were born in the 1800's. Used to not be able to make that kind of mistake on here, it would actually alert you! Never really could type and the amputation and replantation of three fingers on my dominant hand has not improved my typing ability so please alert me to mistakes and not add that "Common sense" should tell me otherwise. I really despise smartypants!

RE: George Icely Lesesne gravestone photo
Deborah:
Thank you so much for the permission... I really appreciate all the hard work it is to photograph and post these images! I'm trying to visit nearby cemeteries and will also be posting photos for others. It is an obsession!

Thankful
I am amazed at how many gravesites you have documented. So many families in these areas of South Carolina surely will be giving thanks for you and for your willing service.
Thankful for you,

George Icely Lesesne gravestone photo
Hello!
May I have your permission to download your photo of the gravestone of George Icely Lesesne? I would like to upload it into my Ancestry family tree. I would, of course, give you credit for your image. I usually place text with the photo:
'Photo of the gravestone of George Icely Lesesne (image courtesy of Deborah Baker Metzger via Find-A-Grave memorial).'
Thank you for your consideration.

Post your photo again
There's a stone photo of yours on 41235206.
Would you please copy it and post it also onto 41235246. It's a photo of a double marker.
