Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi... I have been working on my family history since 1997. I got started trying to find my mom's biological parents. She was 74 years old at the time and was adopted when she was a baby. It took me a couple months but I finally found them. Since that time, my mom has been able to meet her two biological brothers and their families. One brother has since passed away. She has been real happy getting to know them. I was raised in upstate NY, my mom's biological family were from St. Lawrence Co. NY and some of them moved to Monroe Co, NY. That family is GUCK, PARO, WELLER. My dad was raised in central NY. He was raised by a step father named Preston and his mother was from Syracuse, maiden name of Weiss (Wise).

I have two daughters, was a medic in the Air Force, a nurse, masters in psychology and counseling. I've lived in eight state and now live in Arizona. Lots of neat old graves out here to explore.

You've requested a photo of Alice's gravestone at Gum cemetery in Ripley county, Missouri. I was there yesterday (5/22/2013) and did not find it. There were some graves that had only funeral home markers with no data on them that could be her's. Do you know the funeral home that handled her arrangements, that might help locate where in the cemetery they placed her.

RE: Carroll.
You're so sweet..thanks! That stone was beautiful and in such a pretty setting. There were a bunch of Carroll's in that section. If you think they are yours I can get the pics and email them to you and you can post them when you get the time. No, my mom is in a really ugly section up in back..lol..she picked it out.
Is your mother in law getting worse? Make sure you don't get burned out taking care of her. You have to think of you also. Have a wonderful week!!

RE: Weiss
Yea, there were a mess of them in there. There were a few stones that the writing was completely worn off, possibly the ones you needed.

Yea the records are just awful. No one seems to have the actual records. It's such a shame.
Have a great night girl!
