Elizabeth Smith's grave is next to Addison and Nancy Smith's graves. It has "sister" printed on it. Lucia Luftin's grave is in the same area but I do not remember if it is next to it. Since Elizabeth died in 1891, that would probably be the reason she was not listed in Lucia's obit. | |

I just wanted you to know that he was buried in Wall Cemetery in Walonia - a most beautiful place. I have a lot of family buried there.

It has been a while since I have been to this cemetery. I don't remeber seeing any houseals buried close by and I could not find any other stoness with either parent name on it. I had quite a list so I walked the whole cemetery. I do not know who takes care of that cemetery but I am looking. I was told it was a man from Kalona but when I called his number I left my number but I received no response. I will keep looking. It helps me when I have a cemetery contact person. | |

I transferred the memorial for John Palm Housel to your care after I added a little more info. I've also requested that his daughter Dora's memorial be linked, but no response from that contributor yet. I've also requested that the contributor who controls John's father George, link George to his parents. Also no action on that yet.
John is a 4th cousin, 4 times removed (assuming current thinking on the Housel family lines is accurate).
