I've always loved hunting thru graveyards, even as a kid I could be found exploring and reading the stones. Tho' I don't know but few of the names I list I believe everyone should be remembered, their lives are full of stories we'll never know, most leaving just a rock to speak their existance. I live in middle Tennessee, we have many small family graveyards here. As a genealogist I have found clues and info on FAG I've not found elsewhere. FAG has many errors and I'm more than willing to correct any that I may have on my memorials. Also I am NOT into the numbers games I believe information belongs to us all, ask NICELY I will transfer to you. |

Hello Dearest Confederate Lady, Hope All is well with You and Yours. I just wanted to say, what a Beautiful Flower You left for Our Beloved Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson today, on His Birthday!
Many Blessings to All of You, Cindy.
Thank you for the transfers, I really do appreciate it. I am the same way about the # game, if I go to a cemetery I try to list as many names as I can and then if someone does find their ancestors I will transfer them. I have really come across some very rude people, but I have also come across some very nice people. So there is no win win situation when listing names. But as you know if people are looking for their families, they should be happy that someone has listed them where you know where they are. My husband has found some of his grandparents who a "VFW" completely built a building on top of the graves without moving them, which is hard to understand something like that.
Thank you. I appreciate it very much. Have a wonderful week.

Dear Ms Dixon:
First, I'd like to seize this opportunity to thank you for the quality of your work-product in preserving and conserving micro-history for future generations.
Penultimately, I'd like to express my admiration of the lovely portrait of you at a Confederate memorial service. With your carriage, intellect, and the devotion you display I'm certain you would be considered a lady at any of the cardinal directions — East, West, North, or South.
Finally, I'd like to inquire if you have any relation to Nancy Young, née Witcher (Find A Grave Memorial #85708073), for whom you created a memorial page? On that page you stated, "This grave has NO marker, information is from records." Do you have a citation for those records to which I might refer?
