I actually found the article online so we're good. Thank you so much for bring to my attention. We hadn't heard those poems before. My great grandfather was her half brother. Their dad remarried after the mother passed away and she never recovered I think. We have some newspaper articles from when she died and that's how we learned she was a poet. I'm so happy to see that she is still remembered there. I wish I could see the paintings they mentioned. It's such a sad story but I'm glad her poetry is still out there. My mom and I are hoping to take a trip up there to see everything. We're in Florida

I got your message about the poems bring in the paper. I don't think I can change what you said but I would LOVE a copy of the paper if you have it. We only recently found out about what happened to her and we'd love to see what was done in Shelbyville. Southerndaisy1984@yahoo.com (Lindsay)

At least I have her obituary and can place her in that cemetery from the obituary.
I am hoping you can find records through city of proof. I would be very happy to compensate you for your trouble.

Thank you for picking up the request to photocopy tombstone for Jane Munson wife of Gashum Munson.
Shelbyville City Cemetery says they have no
listing of her burial but the obituary says she is buried there probably next to husband.
Please see her memorial site for biography.
I am also looking for Jane's brother James M. Smith and wife Mary and believe they are also buried in this cemetery or cemetery in Addison Twp. Shelby Co., IN. Can you help me with them also?
