I've been tracking my family tree for decades and gradually started helping others find theirs. I recently started a website for my services - helping with tree problems, building entire trees or adding branches, with or without a website.

See my website at http://FindFamilyTrees.com

Find A Grave is a wonderful free site for genealogy. I've been updating some profiles lately in the spirit of passing on information about my ancestors to others.

If you have adds or edits to profiles, I will get an email alert and respond or take the action you requested ASAP.

RE: Edgar Burlingame
Could you put in a request for his wife? I have so much going on that I plain forgot I was going to go back to get the other stone! Glad to be of whatever service I can.

There is a stone for his wife and also one I had some trouble reading due to the angle of the sun. Will get that one at another time if necessary..probably a child since it was between him and his wife.

RE: Capt. Benjamin Merryman
Forgot to ask how you are related. I'd like to learn more, too.

Thanks much.

RE: Capt. Benjamin Merryman
Hi,
I'm a direct decendant through Milcah Bell Carr Harris whose mother was a Merryman. According to ancestry calculations, he's my 4th great grandfather.

Hi,

I believe this is my great, great, great (maybe another great) grandfather. Would you be so kind as to pass the management over to me? I promise I'll take very good care of it.

Thanks for all your wonderful work!

Hello

I have this info On John Henry Cretin 1815-1906. Might be person in Find A Grave Memorial# 133337750

ohn Henry CRETIN, the oldest child of Andrew and Ann
CRETIN was born in July, 1825 in the Emmitsburg, Frederick
County, MD area. On October 14, 1856, a marriage application
was filed for John Henry CRETIN and Mary C. DIELMAN. According
to the application, Mary was born in Baltimore, MD on December
21, 1835. She was the daughter of Dr. John Casper Henry and
Emily (DAWSON) DIELMAN. John H. CRETIN was listed in the
census of Washington County, MD in 1860 as a farmer. The
"Emmitsburg Chronicle" on February 23, 1884 included a story
about John Henry CRETIN moving his family from Hagerstown, MD
to Clairvaux, the former home of Dr. Henry DIELMAN located in
Andora, Frederick County near Mount St. Mary's College. Mary C.
Dielman CRETIN was listed as a member of the parish of Mount St.
Mary's in 1885.

Mary died March 11, 1899 and John Henry died March 17, 1906.
They are both buried at Mount St. Mary's cemetery. John Henry's

Arnold and Mary Ann Owings Livers
I believe that you are right about the grave belonging to the Arnold Livers who married Mary Ann Owings the daughter of Col. Robert Owings.

He was the third child of old Arnold Livers and Mary Ann (Anna) Drane. Arnold was born on September 24, 1737.

Arnold Livers' (7) property was not too distant from the present site of Mount St. Mary College.

His will was probated on June 22, 1779.

This information is from the book "Arnold Livers Family in America" by Sister Mary Louise Donnelly

RE: Inscription?
The inscription on the McConnell tomb is very difficult to read even in person. I copied everything on the marker, entered it into a spreadsheet, and created memorials for everyone on the headstone.

I'll email you a PDF showing everyone who was on the marker at the time of the transcription.
