I was born and raised in Bedford Co. I have been researching my family for the past 10 years. I married Jay Lloyd Clapper from Morrison's Cove. My mother was Anna Belle Deremer and my father is Raymond James Nave. Other surnames that I am researching are Cessna, O'Neal, Sollenberger, Teeter, Amick, Campbell.
My stonewall is my great-great-great-grandfather Christian Nave. I have not been able to find out much about him. I think he may have come from Morrison's Cove. Last source I have is the 1823 tax list for Cumberland Vally. I have been trying to find his burial location for the past 10 years with no success. His wife was Barbara Miller. Her burial location along with her son Nicholas is also a mystery. | |

| Burial Location of Katherine Smouse Cessna
Katherine Smouse Cessna was not buried in Blairsville Cemetery. She died in November 1857 in Lawrence township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania which is quite a distance from Blairsville, Pennsylvania. She was living with her son John Cessna at the time of her death. Thus it is more likely that she is buried upon his farm in Clearfield County or at his church at the time. I have not been able to locate this information as of yet.

Charles Hall Cessna died in Jul - Aug 1829, the Blairsville Cemetery, in Blairsville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania was not established until 05 Oct 1853. He is more likely buried in a family plot upon the farm on which he lived or in a church cemetery at that time.
