RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 134632239
Thank you for letting me know.

I'm happy the information was helpful. Veronica Lijewski was the wife of Joseph Roesslein. Joseph was the son of Michael & Annie E. (nee Schmidt) Roesslein and a nephew of John J. & Fannie (nee Kelley) Schmidt. Fannie was my great grand aunt.

FYI, Veronica's death notice was published by the Baltimore Sun on 27 Dec 1967. It reported her address as 134 North Luzerne Ave and identified her as the mother of G. Joseph Roesslein; the sister of Mrs. Margaret Fisher and Mrs. Mary Goski; and the brother of James Lace [Lijewski I presume].

John

Blanche Benjamin McAlpin
The maiden name for Blanche McAlpin (1863-1958), memorial# 136059691, is Benjamin. Her parents' names were William Wallace Benjamin and Delia (Flint) Benjamin. I know the obituary makes it look like her father was William Wallace, but actually he was William Wallace Benjamin.

Thanks in advance for accepting my edit to her maiden name.

Round Swamp/Brown Swamp
The cemetery is actually known by both names. I did not add the original cemetery, it was added by Find A Grave as Brown Swamp Cemetery. I have requested Find A Grave, more than once, to change the name, to no avail. This question just came up in the last month and I suggested to another contributor that they contact Find A Grave to correct the name, or have it listed as both names. I am unsure if they have done so.

As far as the duplicate, it is strongly suggested that you search by name of the individual you are adding, before you add a new cemetery, just in case it is known by more than one name to prevent duplicating memorials. It is not uncommon for cemeteries to be known by more than one name.

RE: Cedar Lawn Cemetery
Hi I checked up on the cedar lawn cemetery it has only been in use since 1893 this Wyandanch you found is probably the grandson since chief Wyandanch died in the 1600s but this find is still cool I will put Wyandanch Pharoah in this cemetery

You're welcome; sorry it didn't work out better. Let me know if you would like me to send photos of the plot where the Schmidts are buried and of the surrounding area.
