May I please use the photo that you took of my Great Grandfather's grave on my family tree? Thank You for the picture. I live far away and never would have been able to visit his grave. Julie

Anna Tyro/# 41061352
Hello Tegan.

This is probably a long shot, but... Four years ago you started a memorial page for Anna Tyro (Find A Grave Memorial# 41061352/Economy Cemetery) --- I was recently there and her grave marker caught my eye, so I took a picture of it, and was able to add it to your memorial. I also posted a picture of it on my Facebook page, and several of us are very curious about her, and her grave marker (especially the "Burnt To Death" inscription) --- Would you happen to know any other info on her or the fire? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Lisa

Roy Hutson
My sister's best friend growing up was the daughter Roy Hutson adopted with his second wife Jackie. They stayed on Kurtz Avenue for many years after the tornado. I know he never got over the loss of his wife Frances and children Michael and Patricia.

RE: Bessie E Clemons Hunt
Hi Tegan,

It sounds like we're pretty close to being equidistant from Bessie. According to Ancestry.com, she is the "grand niece of husband of 2nd great grand aunt". So no, we're not exactly immediate family :-)

My interest in the Clemons family comes through my Richfield Twp. Miles line. My g-g-g grandparents, Samuel and Esther Van Antwerp Miles had four children...and through their marriages, I am related to pretty much all of Richfield Twp. One of those marriages was that of Sarah Miles to Willard Clemons. Once I started tracing all my secondary and tertiary lines, the Clemons became of interest.

I live in Clio, so if you need any Genesee County records or photos, just let me know.

RE: Johnson family
Thanks. Sorry we're not connected. Just as an FYI, my grandpa Charles F. was adopted. His adoptive parents were named Morgan/Moses and Lucinda Messenger Johnson. They were born in NY state, then moved to Lyons, MI. They had two young children, Delilah and Charles L. who died of diphtheria in the early 1900s in Lyons, MI. I am looking for their burial sites. If you ever run across anything, please let me know.

I'm also looking for the bio mother/father of my grandpa, but have no clues about who they might be other than that they probably lived in Lyons, MI.

RE: Johnson memorials
Hi Tegan,

Thanks so much for transferring the memorials to me. I will keep my eye open for Alpha Johnson Harrington, but that name doesn't sound familiar to me at all. Orleans is a very small community and my dad was the postmaster there, so I'm quite familiar with the older family names in the area. That one doesn't stand out. I'll ask my mom, though, she might know and she's lived there nearly 70 years.
