William Ernst and Hannah Vorhis Ernst were my great great grandparents. Their son, William S. Ernst, married Eva Margaret McPherson, my great grandparents. William and Eva were the parents of my paternal grandfather, Ira Ernst. Ira married Nettie Olive Enyeart, and their youngest son, Glenn Lukens Ernst, was my father. Glenn was born July 12, 1918, in Craig, Nebraska, and died August 3, 1962, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. Glenn is buried in the Fremont Memorial Cemetery in Fremont, Dodge County, Nebraska, with his parents. Glenn married my mother, Annabelle Stigers, born August 15, 1926, in Shelby County, Kentucky, and died September 28, 2002, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. She was one of the two people to die from West Nile Virus in 2002 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. Ann is buried with her parents and many other family members in Mt. Zion Cemetery (formerly the Stigers Family Cemetery) in Franklin County, Kentucky.

Thanks for info re Fountain's 2nd wife, I have updated the memorial. Doesn't it drive you crazy when the same family spells the surname two ways, as Fountain has with his brothers and his sons? I have that issue with many of my ancesters.

RE: Active
Great, please look through my memorials for some of your Hulett/Hulette relatives. I believe I have some of them and would be happy to transfer them to you.

I'm glad it turned out I can try and drive out again late tommorrow evening and see if the sun will shine directly on William name so we can get a better picture of his name and birth & death dates. Sorry my camera is not the best in the world and I must admit to having the hardest time photographing the type of headstone that William has.

As for the transfer it means you will have the power to edit and add to the memorial page in effect you will be the co-owner of the memorial along with Jim Tipton the man who created find a grave.

Let me know and I will have Hannah & William Transfered over to you.

Nope William is the only name on the stone and then Hannah is to the left of William's Stone, I also found it very odd that his was big and hers a little flat stone. did you get the photos I sent to your home email address of William's headstone? it shows the name if you get really close are you related to the rest of the Ernst family buried in Bethel Cemetery? would you like to have the memorial transfered over to you since they are you Great,Great grandparents.

No its the front of the stone its a very weathered stone which my camera won't photograph very well. I'll send you the other pics. which shows the name up close.
