Bio Photo TO THE MEMORY OF MY GRANDSON:
Jackson Clay Helbig #53341847.

I am the 2013 President of the Eden Preservation Society and we are currently cleaning up an abandoned city cemetery named " Old Spray Cemetery". It contains the graves of many young children from the years 1870-1920. We are looking for help identifying gravesites where stones have been destroyed from age or vandalism or are either marked by fieldstones or not marked at all. Visit our website for photos and information.

Please forward all corrections and family links on memorials to me by using the edit tab on the memorial. Please only request transfers for immediate family members to respect what little time I now have.

NOTE TO ALL CONTRIBUTORS: Please do not add cemeteries without CLEAR DIRECTIONS or addresses. This is causing terrible problems through-out Findagrave and makes it nearly impossible to do photo requests. If you have added cemeteries, go back and check your directions and use the mapping feature. Your help is greatly appreciated!

RE: Re: Gradie Smith Harris
No relation, just was in the area and snapped a few pictures for a photo request. Noted that there were quite a few memorials needing pictures so I photographed most of the gravestone.

If you would like the memorial transferred to you, let me know.

RE: George W. Cox Photo
Hi David,
The only direction that I have at the moment is Route 640 NE of Ridgeway. That is the directions in the "Follow the Periwinkle" cemetery book for Henry County. I'll see if I can find better directions. Thanks, Henry Webber

RE: Maggie Gainey Towler
Her husband died after she did. Maybe he wanted her name on his grave stone and she is not actually buried beside him.

RE: Maggie Gainey Towler
I don't really know anything about her. I was at Reidlawn to do photo requests when I saw her gravestone and photographed it. Since she wasn't listed in Reidlawn I created a memorial for her. Later I noticed the other one. I could not have made a mistake because I have never taken any pictures of gravestones at Greenlawn. Let me know what you find out. Of course, I'll transfer or delete the one I made.
