I have always been interested in tracing my family history, even as a young child. Now that my relatives are getting older I want to try to gather and preserve as much information as I can.
Some of the family surnames that I research are all the varients of Hoffert, Raifsnider, Hartman, Furillo, Bowers, Wagner, Meyer, Merkey to name a few. I have helped many of my extended family and friends with their trees as well.
I am in the Berks County Area. The Berks County Historical Society as a nice online database you can use to search most church and cemetery records. This site has helped me find maiden names, spouses, parents and burial sites I would not have known other wise. Another great source of information in Berks County online is this site from the Berks County Register of Wills.

I uploaded headstone photos for Luigi and Angelina. I noticed your memorial page for Luigi has his last name spelled Sideria instead of Siderio.

| Question about Siderio, Angelina
You have a memorial page for Angelina Siderio. I was recently in Holy Cross cemetery, Yeadon, Pa. and photographed a headstone for an Angelina Siderio. I was wondering if they were the same person. There is a discrepancy with their birth dates but the death dates are the same. You have 1862 as her birth date but the date on the headstone is 1860. Both death dates are identical. The headstone also shows a Luigi Siderio, 1848 - 1906. I want to create a memorial for Luigi and Angelina, but not if your Angelina is the one on the headstone.

You're welcome Vicki. Have you found John Bouchat (34352382) in either the 1850 or 1860 census? Elizabeth Bouchat 1840-1885, was the wife of Josiah Faust. I'm thinking she must be related in some way, but I haven't found a connection yet. | | | Sherry

I was using the News Chronicle from Shippensburg. Shippensburg is located in two counties - Franklin & Cumberland. 2/3 of it is in Cumberland. I don't have access to the Public Opinion which is from Chambersburg, the county seat of Franklin. The Franklin County Historical Society has those newspapers on file I believe.
I will make a note on Lydia's memorial about her daughter. Thanks for that info. Glad you were familiar with her!

I was working on a memorial for Spring Hill Cemetery for Lydia Elm and added her obit. In it it lists her daughter who married a Reifsnyder. When I saw the name I thought of you because I had transferred the Spring Hill Reifsnyders to you back in Oct. Lydia's memorial # is 105044625. It lists her daughter but does not give a full name, only initials and those initials may be her husbands. In hopes that it may help you in your research.
