Memorial #130577715 Stanley Swart
I noticed that his spouse and children's names are listed and one of the children's names is incorrect. Should the names of the living be listed? I am a family member and they were surprised to see this online. Would like your feedback on this.

The year of death you have on the memorial is 1995, however if you look on the gravestone you will see the year of death is 1975. Have a good day:)

George and Rebecca Dailey Memorials
The memorials for George Pease Daily #132998611 and Rebecca Arble Dailey #132998857 in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Des Monines, Polk Co, Iowa are regrettably incorrect.

This George Daily is listed in the Iowa Cemetery Records, 1662 - 1999 as follows: (note that he died when he was 31 and before many of George Pease Dailey's children were born)
Iowa, Cemetery Records, 1662-1999 about Geo Dailey
Name: Geo Dailey
Birth Date: 22 Dec 1816
Death Date: 22 Jun 1848
Age: 31
Burial Location: Polk
Cemetery: Pine Hill
Source: Iowa Graves Registration Survey W P A Polk County Iowa
Page Number: 119

Since George Pease Daily died Dec. 18, 1878 (date from probate records) the George Daily buried at Pine Hill can not be George Pease Daily husband of Rebecca Arble.

Ancestry trees indicate that the George Dailey buried at Pine Hill was the husband of Rebecca Needels born Nov. 19, 1818 and died Dec. 31, 1890. Her parents were Philemone Needels and Sarah Collins. This George and Rebecca's daughter Minerva Dailey Day is also buried at Pine Hill.

Thank you in advance for correcting these memorials, I will send you a SAC so that corrections can be made easily. Unfortunately, bios and link for unrelated child will have to be deleted manually.

Thank you for your work and dedication to FindAGrave,
Great Great Great Granddaughter of George Pease Dailey

Okay I have changed his parents. I cannot verify either way at the moment. My source on this line has passed away.. Can you tell me your source for this information?

Walls at Geeseytown

Regarding the Walls, I am sorry, but I declined the SACs for the full birth dates. I don't use the age calculations to put in the birth date, unless I can verify it from another source. Sometimes those ages are spot-on - other times they are very incorrect. I will add the approximated year, (and even that can turn out to be wrong by one) but not the full date. If you have any other contemporary source to verify the birth dates let me know, and I will be happy add them.

Thank you,

Findagrave policy is to use the name and dates on the stone and note differences in the bio, This prevents duplicates.
