|I am a commissioner on the Winneshiek County Pioneer Cemetery Commission. I have been involved with genealogy organizations and historical organizations over the past 15 years. I have actively been involved in doing genealogy research for myself and others over the past 15 years. I think that cemetery's are a treasuretrove of information and each stone/monument/marker has a story to tell and the living must tell the story.|
My children enjoy going with me to the cemetery's to find new grandpa's and grandma's. History comes alive and I hope that the next generation will keep it alive.

I am having trouble locating the cemetery you mention for Ella. Is she on the findagrave list?

Thank you so very much for the information! I am working on this line for a friend of mine and you helped to confirm the Waterbury name for us. We are still trying to sort some of the family info out. Thank you again!
Thanks so much for the photo of Helen Graham's marker! Your time and effort is very much appreciated.

Thank you so much for the Eliza Jane (McCartney) Gilbert headstone photo and that of her husband. Eliza is something of a long-lost cousin and your photo has added important information to our family history.
