Pleasant Hill Cemetery
Pleasant Hill is located in a very pleasant country setting on a rolling hill. There is a Missionary Church directly across the road from the cemetery. The church looks like a newer building (20 years or less) or completely remodeled with none of an older facade showing. The Snook monument is indeed one of the most unique I have ever seen. Thank you for asking for this request because it was a serendipitous adventure for me. :)

I see that you have sponsored the memorial for Jennie Reynolds, would you like for me to transfer the memorial to you?

Esther Hetty Snook
Carolyn,

I have updated the information on Esther "Hetty" Snook's memorial (#59215280) with information I received from Larry Smith (#47057204).

I photographed her monument several years ago simply because it caught my eye but unfortunately I did not photograph the other sides. The other stones near her monument are either broken or all that is left is the concrete base. I do have a photo from a distance that shows this if you would like it. I live in New York so I am unable to help with new photos.

I would suggest creating separate memorials for Jesy, Mary and any other family members and then making separate photo requests for each.

Happy hunting,
Apple

Hetty Snook
Carolyn,
I take a lot of pictures for requests in Branch Co. I have been to this cemetery many times and have seen this family marker. We are pretty lucky here in that we have a great genealogy department at our library. I would be happy to look up info on the Snook family and give you the info about the cemetery itself. I can tell you that it is a small country cemetery and that there isn't a church nearby. I will be in that area next week and if you would like I can take pictures and see if other Snooks are there. Feel free to email me at firefighterjw@aol.com.
Jeff
