RE: James B. Kidd
If at all possible could you send my cousin, Jason Kidd of Missouri a scan of the picture of Roxie's Father?
I am related by way of Roxie's first husband was my dads brother.
Im sure he would be very excited to hear from you. Just mention my name so he gets the jest.
His address is
If I get up Enid way I would like to go visit Roxie's grave and take some flowers. That was a sad situation but very common around the American Civil War forward until they got medicines to combat the disease.
My Great Grandparents Matthew and Cordelia Wright of Millville, Tennessee suffered the same fate leaving all eight of their children orphaned.
My Grandpa Wright was 16 years old, and struck out, left Tennessee for Texas. He drove cattle from Texas to Kansas on the Western Trail (1890's) before coming to Indian Territory to settle in 1901. The two photos I received from my Aunt showed the original lands the McLellans received as they were Choctaws and the my Grandfathers picture on a cattle drive.
Well that's enough just wanted you to know about Jason and if you would not mind. He is new to this and does not know a lot about any of the lines. trying to get him all the scanned pictures ready to send to him. Thanks for all your hard work. I so enjoy this endeavor. Blessings! Curt

RE: James B. Kidd
Barb, sorry i wish i did have a picture of her Mother.
Im indirectly related to her by way of her first husband, Robert McLellan. Also Roxie married second to Jim Kidd who was my Grandfather Kidds brother.
I will look it over and we will do our best.
I know Roxie contracted consumption and they had to send her to be cared for. In that day it was lethal.
Thanks, C

RE:Mary Moon
I did check again when I was in Duncan. I couldn't find James A Wright's spot nor Mary Moon.

I'm going to have my husband look at the cemetery. He is in Okla just now and I am in Colorado. We need the picture if there is a grave.

Elijah Duke
Hi Barbara!
Wanted to follow-up on this connection. My husband's grandfather was Elmer Duke, son of Elijah. We never knew what happened to Dr. Duke after he left East Texas!

RE: Oh!
I believe your right, and if wrong it can be corrected (I think)I've had a couple I've gone with the logical as opposed to doing nothing at all.

If not at the cemetery it would probably be on the home property, There is a couple of other cemetery's not too far away but I would put my dollar on Marysville.

RE: Oh!
Yes, I noticed they didn't have a cemetery.

I don't even have pictures of Helen's Wyatt children, I don't know who ended up with my Grandma's pictures, I believe my Aunt, and she's gone now too. Her son, might be willing to let me take pictures of the pictures if we could ever get together again.

But, I doubt, she would have any of Helen's brother's and sisters. I would think it would be some of her children's descendants. I hope someone has taken care of them and will share when asked. I'm willing to help you connect with them, or try that is.
