Tombstone tourist, taphophile, cemetery enthusiast, graver. I got into this hobby by way of paranormal investigating, then by photographing cemetery and funerary architecture and monuments. I enjoy learning of and photographing historic cemeteries and artistic memorials. |
Being former Navy myself I consider it an honor in discovering grave sites of Congressional Medal of Honor recipients and military veterans. And enjoy searching for the occassional celebrities, too.
My favorite cemeteries (so far) are; Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, Ca., Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Hollywood, Ca., Los Angeles National Cemetery in Westwood, Ca. and Mountain View Cemetery in Alta Dena, Ca.
If there is a memorial of a family member or friend that ive added that you would like transfered please let me know. Also, if you have information you'd like to add to one of my memorials, again, please let me know.
I want to say thanx to my graver friends Kimberly, Jayne & Lisa for all your advice and help. And a BIG THANK YOU to my graver partner, Darla, for all the miles, bad jokes and greasy food. Too much fun!

|Don Weaver||Frank P. Rutledge|
Hi my name is Don Weaver. Frank P. Rutledge (Francis) is my step-great grandfather. His second wife was my great grand mother. They were married in Austin, TX in 1887 and were together until she died in Dallas, TX in 1921. She is buried in Oak Cliff Cemetery in Dallas. The Cemetery has her listed as "Janie Rutledge". I recently had a head stone placed on her grave. The stone's inscription reads: In Loving Memory of "Missouri" Martha Jane Baggett Weaver Rutledge 28 Dec 1852 - 17 Sept 1921 "Finally AT Rest"
I would appreciate it if you would place a link on Frank's site to Janie's site.
Thank you for all your hard work in posting photo at Find-A-Grave.

Back in August I sent you a SAC letting you know this Find A Grave Memorial# 82921139 is a duplicate memorial for Charles, there is already one that was done back in 2007 on Find A Grave Memorial# 21402683.

Thank you for photographing Samuel Huff's (my Great Great Grandfather) new Civil War marker/headstone. I am so happy to see it had arrived. I was out on Memorial Day this year and got to see it firsthand and shed a tear. Thanks again kindly for your generosity and dedication. Every happiness to you. Joseph Huff
