Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi .. I found this site by a mutual researcher sending me the link and found it to be a GREAT asset! I enjoy doing family research so much I started collecting all records, pictures and what ever on my surname NANCE, and other variations of spelling NANCES/NANTZ/NANTS ect...

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

I would be glad to add to or update bio information for that individual or transfer (If not my own relatives) ownership of the ones I have added. ALSO I have sent in hundreds of additions/corrections to memorials. PLEASE SEND NAME & MEMORIAL # with any request or replies to these additions/corrections I have sent.

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

If I have put a flower on any NANCE/NANTZ/NANTS ect, I probably have info. to share . as I research all these lines. ONLY ON THE NANCE SIDES. PLEASE SEND MEMORIAL # with request, I have put flowers on over 12,500+ memorials. thanks :) I am the admin. of a group NANCE (surname) From Around the World on Facebook for those researching NANCE lines. This is a private group for Nance researchers so you will have to send me a private message to get in.

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

THANK YOU! To those who fill photo request and those who correct mistakes, and removing duplicates!!

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

For the rest of you people what's up with you? You don't own any of these memorials!! And your NOT the only one related!!!

I get so tired of hearing people say they wont delete a duplicate memorial because.. {for whatever reason!!}.

Per F.A.G. rules.. You should never deliberately create a duplicate memorial. You should use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. !! THIS MEANS YOU TOO!! Even if you do have more information! I find this as YOU being inconsiderate to those who created the original, for all you know they are related too.. ALSO do a search for the person your about to add by name and one of the known years, birth or death, not just search the cemetery your about to add them to. Some people create memorials for family members they don't know where they are buried.

Greetings! I came across your profile per your comment on Reuben Nance's findagrave memorial. I'm a descendant of William and Ann Nance's son, John. My last Nance ancestor was Miss Sarah (Sally) Elizabeth Nance who married Benjamin Cavender. I have been researching the Nance family for sometime now, but would like to know more about the marriage of William Nance, Jr. and Ann Eppes. I have been contacting historical societies in Virginia but all roads lead me to Francis Eppes, the progenitor of the American Ep/pes family, and little on the life or persona of Ann Eppes. I added the Facebook page of the Nances, hence the strange pseudonym. I hope to hear back.

I sent in edits for several graves in this cemetery and was rejected on each one. I know you hate people that create dups but if people will not accept edits and just submit sites from an index with no clue if it really exists then I will continue to make dups and be hated. Leland Jones

Charles Nance memorial
I did not find the memorial #44155703 listed for a Charles Nance buried at the Mitchell Cemetery. I was led out to the Gum Cemetery by a great grandchild of Charles Nance, but I did not catch his name. Some of the relatives put together some money to purchase this new stone. From what I could see, the Mitchell Cemetery in the picture is also the Gum Cemetery. The map to get there is also the same route I took, even over a running creek of about 2 inches and through farmland. I took a picture of the stone right next to Charles, Mary Nance, but I see that picture was taken back in 2009 and the memorial is in the Mitchell Cemetery. You may want to take the naming up with Find-A-Grave, put Gum Cemetery in Parenthesis) and have the names from Gum transferred to Mitchell.

Thank you so very much! I just didn't recognize the name. I'm so glad that I did write you; he can now be in his proper place. Very good! Tommie

P. Sanford Nance
Hello, I am kindly wondering where you learned that P. Sanford Nance is buried in Crooked Creek in Blount Co. Research has found only Sylvester and Sallie Nuchols, 2 small children, and an Indian massacred group. The first 4 are buried next to where the old homeplace stood. The group are further out in the field. All that exists now is a cow pasture. As we, hundreds, have worked fruitlessly to extend our ancestors past Sylvester and Sally, we would love to know that Mr. Nance is from his family! I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you, Tommie Moser Nichols, Powell, TN, Third great-grandaughter

RE: James M. Nance
I have deleted the memorial. Should you ever run across another "duplicate" that is mine. Please drop me a note instead of leaving a note in the flower section. The only thing that makes sense in regards to James Nance is that he was re-interred. Thank you for your information.

Greetings, While looking over my memorials I noticed you had left a flower on the memorial I created with a note that it was a duplicate. Memorial # 136203766. I agree but am confused. I found his information on the WPA records for Foy-Gibson Cemetery; His death certificate located on the original memorial lists him as being buried in the Gibson graveyard. Before I delete, and I will, could you perhaps verify his actual location? Could he have been moved? Thank you.
