Hi .. I found this site by a mutual researcher sending me the link and found it to be a GREAT asset! I enjoy doing family research so much I started collecting all records, pictures and what ever on my surname NANCE, and ALL other NANCES/NANTZ/NANTS ect...
I would be glad to add or update bio information for that individual or transfer ownership of the ones I have added (If not my own relatives).

I posted a picture of Mary Josephine Jones Nance. Mary was my Great-grandmother. She was married to Newton Wesley Nance, who was born on May 11, 1868. They had the following children; Carrie Lela Nance born Jan. 26, 1895, Jasper Wyatt Nance born Mar. 28 1896, Maude Annice Nance (My grandmother) born July 30, 1898, Clarence Richard Nance born Nov. 22, 1900, John Walter Nance born June 14, 1903, and Lloyd Wilber nance born April 10, 1907. They were all born in Herrick Township, Shelby County Illinois.
I hope that this information will help relatives looking for the Nance Family.

I haven't taken the photos, yet, but I can tell you that Mary Leach (Davis) Nance is definitely buried next to Ashley Johnson Nance. Their plots are Live Oak, Block N, Lot 20, Space NE (Mary) and SE (Ashley).

Thanks for telling me I put a duplicate memorial, 68442125, I didn't realize. I removed mine. I noticed someone had added my photos to the other memorial, which is fine.
