|I am a history enthusiast and love visiting old cemeteries and reading old obituaries and gravestones. Most of my memorials are relatives but sometimes if I see an interesting stone or familiar surname I will take a photo and record it. If you run across a relative or friend I will gladly hand over editing rights. I live in Concord, NC, and my ancestors are scattered over Rowan, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Anson, Catawba, Gaston, Lincoln and Union Counties in NC, and Lancaster and Chesterfield Counties in SC.|

I am glad to hear that! Sometimes there are children and grandchildren with the same names and that was what I thought might be the error. So glad that you can use the photo. I live in Sumter, also!! I great hometown... Thank you for your work!!!
|Charles Brooks||Grave Transfer|
Thank you Janis for the unexpected transfer of Charles Harris Bruner.I will add more info soon.
Thanks for putting up the photo, Janis. I'm not satisfied that I know who Helen's husband was. Public trees say he was Millard Sylvester St. Clair, but I can't find any documents to connect them.
The only hard evidence is her stone which says "Mother" and gives her married name.
Millard St. Clair is buried in Wilkes Co., 28537589, but there's no data there. Looks like a neglected grave.
