I live in Erie, PA and am working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of the Mexican War. I would like your permission to use the picture you posted of Lawson Blackwelder's grave in this compilation. I will cite you as the source.
Thank you for transferring the McAllister memorials. I appreciate you adding them to Find A Grave.

I found Jamima on Find A Grave. Mayberry Cemetery is in Taylorsville, Alexander County, North Carolina. There are only two grave markers left. One of Jamima and one of Nancy Meadows. If you look at the pictures, there are others buried there, but it is located in a cow pasture and the cattle are allowed to roam over the cemetery which has destroyed many of the graves. I am under the assumption that the land owner has no respect for the people who are buried here. I suspect my grandfather James Queen is buried there with his wife, but there is no stone and so far I have been unable to find a record of this cemetery. I have run upon cemeteries that were in this condition before. It is so sad that others are unable to give the same care to our forefathers/mothers as those who survived them. I will let you know if I need any pics, thanks for the offer. Take care of your Mom! Ronda
