RE: James Cassius Coffman
I'm hoping they will mow the grass soon. I wasn't expecting the grass to be so high. The city takes care of it so they don't mow often. I plan on taking another pic.

DUFFY GRAVE IN L.I.N.C.
Hi,
I got the picture you requested for William Duffy in L.I.N.C. He's buried with his wife Lena. I've also added a picture to her memorial and created a link between them.
Have a good one...
Glenn

Grammers in Palm Cemetery
I was recently going through and noticed you had taken a photo of both Leslie Grammer's headstone and his wife's. I can not recall whether or not I thanked you for that or no. I wanted to be sure though even if so very late so Thank you very much! I do appreciate it.

re James Meredith Mills, Chapel Hill photo attempt
Thank you, Pam, for your recent and very thoughtful attempt to fulfill the photo request I had posted for my Uncle Jim (even though you weren't, apparently, the person who had 'claimed' it.)

As I understand it, you visited the Chapel Hill Cemetery office less than 10 minutes before the 'claimee' dropped in too! I gather that you went to take other photos anyway, so I imagine you probably thought you might as well add mine to your agenda, "just in case". What a kind gesture!

It's unfortunate that my original research of 2 years ago seems to have been inaccurate. I had the Funeral Home information from Uncle Jim's obituary (1980), and Chapel Hill Cemetery had seemed the most logical and closest place of interrment in Orlando.

I was so intrigued by the coincidence of two people showing up within minutes of each other, that I actually called Chapel Hill office on Friday (yesterday), and spoke with staff there. I couldn't help but laugh when they told me of their own surprise over the event!

They are now looking into their records (of 30 years ago) to help solve my mystery, but it's been suggested that Glen Haven is the more likely possibility. So I've "moved" Uncle Jim to GHMP for now, and added an explanation of the situation.

Hopefully, by the end of this coming week, I'll have some answers!

Your attempt, and your kindness, however, are greatly appreciated!! =]) Hope you're enjoying slightly warmer weather down there than we are here in Barrie Ontario (sunny, but minus 15 celsius, plus windchill!!!!)

All the best,
=]) Beth M,
from mid-Ontario, Canada
