RE: Moses Roberts
I imagine it is very difficult to do research in Wales. I wondered how they knew for sure that was right. I was looking in Ancestry and think if found your family tree. Are you tjsras63?

RE: Moses Roberts
I am the great granddaughter of Elijah so if you are the great granddaughter of William that would make us 3rd cousins. Elijah stayed in Nebraska as well as quite a few of his children. It was mostly the next 2 generations that moved west to Idaho and Oregon. My grandmother Viola died in Nebraska then my grandfather Cloyd moved to Greenleaf ID. My parents moved out there and my dad went to college in Oregon then moved to Kansas where we live now. I have found research that shows a Ellis Rhydderck was the father of Robert Ellis. That is as far as I go back. It is nice to connect with another cousin.

RE: Moses ROberts
I am interested in how you are related to the Roberts. I am a descendant of Elijah through his daughter Viola. I have come across your name several times in my research.

Hello, I finally figured out how to add the parents you advised me of. Thank you for the information. It has been added. Could you tell me , if you know the names of her children with Bradford P Hanan. I would like to compare my info and make any corrections. Have a great day!

I put in a request to have this grave site deleted. Since I did not setup this gravesite, I have to have someone else delete it. Hopefully they will grant my request. Thanks for the correct information.

Roberts surnames at Walnut Creek Friends cemetery
Twila,
All of the identifiable headstones (across the board, not just Roberts surnames) have been photographed and posted to their respective memorials at Walnut Creek Friend Cemetery here in Jefferson county. There are a number of burials there where either no headstone was ever known for them, or the stone has weathered to the point of being illegible and not 100% linked to a particular person.

Several contributors have mame memorials in that cemetery but for various reasons they have not indicated in their memorials that no headstone exists or can't be reliably associated with that person. As a result, there are a number of open photo requests for people that either have no headstone or we can't be sure if one is for them or not.

At one point I reported some of the photo requests as "problem", explaining that there is almost no reliable way to know of a headstone for that person, but the photo requests keep on coming.

The Roberts surnames all have headstone photos to the extent that their headstones are known of.

Some of the memorials are without headstone photos because no headstone has been found or known of for them. Unfortunately, some of the other contributors have not made mention of no headstones in their memorials, so photo requests get made on the assumption that a headstone is there for them.

In the early 1960's some people did have headstones, but they have been lost or buried in the ground in the intervening 50 years. Short of digging around, or lucking out to find a headstone exposed from the ground, there is little likelyhood that identifiable headstones will be found.

To the extent that I know of in walking the cemetery, all of the headstones that I could find and identify are photographed and posted to their memorials.

Richard
