|I am currently researching the Brooks family in and around Claiborne County, Tennessee, Bell County, Kentucky and Lee County, Virginia. If I have created a memorial of your relatives and they are more closely related to you and to me, please let me know. I will be happy to transfer the memorial to you.|

I am looking for Earl family members. Do you know if "Lizzie" Earl Brooks is the daughter of William Jackson Earl and Fannie Easter Large? Is she the sister of Iva Lawrence Earl, Frank Earl, Jessie Earl, and Eltred Kyle "Dude" Earl?
Becky, it probably is one and the same. That cemetery is on a steep mountain. Scares me to drive there.

A transfer would be fine. If a closer family member turns up, I can always re-transfer. Appreciate your work as it's unlikely that I would have ever found her on my own.

Welcome, I'll be happy to transfer if this is your family.

Find A Grave now reports that the two memorials have been "merged." So, I guess that they did get your message, though they did not specifically reply.

Oh girl you have no idea. The duck pool is solid ice, with little ducky footprints all across the top...they think I've taken the joke just a little too far and are shooting me dirty looks.
You are so very welcome for all the Find A Grave stuff, and you know I'll be happy to transfer anybody you need.

This is my grandmother. Also Riley Brooks and Edward brooks are my grandfather and uncle.
All at Red Hill.

Hi, Pooh Bear.
I recently noticed that you had provided some information to Edie Doepel regarding Lizzie Brooks, whose memorial is #28356297. (Edie just transferred the memorial to me, and I've now added Lizzie's full name: Matilda Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Dickerson) Blankenship Brooks. I'm wondering: Are you related to the family, too? (Lizzie's first husband Columbus Blankenship was my great-granduncle). I see you have a virtual cemetery called "Brooks family" so perhaps your connection is through the Brooks'. But I was intrigued to see that you knew that Lizzie was Henry B. Blankenship's mother and Columbus Blankenship's wife (before she married Lewis Brooks). If you are related to the Blankenships I'd love to correspond and share info with you. I'm also wondering if you know where Columbus is buried?
Thank you so much.

Becky, I have changed name to Ima. NOW I remember name as Ima not Irma. Very dear friends growing up years and mother of some best friends. I wondered if you are related. Two of her sons are at Roseberry.

Harrell/Herrell. All of the same family. My GGgrandmother was a Harrell, Nancy Elizabeth Harrell, daughter of John James Harrell and Lovell "Lovey" Caroline Fletcher. Family members lived in Virginia, Tennessee, Missouri, Texas, etc. It is a very large family that spread throughout the country.
Thank you for you assistance.
