|I am currently researching the Brooks family in and around Claiborne County, Tennessee, Bell County, Kentucky and Lee County, Virginia. If I have created a memorial of your relatives and they are more closely related to you and to me, please let me know. I will be happy to transfer the memorial to you.|

Do you know where this cemetery is located? I have relatives buried there and would like to visit the cemetery. There is not a GPS location listed and I have not found anyone that can tell me exactly where it is. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Becky, it probably is one and the same. That cemetery is on a steep mountain. Scares me to drive there.

A transfer would be fine. If a closer family member turns up, I can always re-transfer. Appreciate your work as it's unlikely that I would have ever found her on my own.

Welcome, I'll be happy to transfer if this is your family.

Find A Grave now reports that the two memorials have been "merged." So, I guess that they did get your message, though they did not specifically reply.

Oh girl you have no idea. The duck pool is solid ice, with little ducky footprints all across the top...they think I've taken the joke just a little too far and are shooting me dirty looks.
You are so very welcome for all the Find A Grave stuff, and you know I'll be happy to transfer anybody you need.

Elizabeth Yeary Brooks
This is my grandmother. Also Riley Brooks and Edward brooks are my grandfather and uncle.
All at Red Hill.
I would love to change and correct their information.

Vola and Harrison were my aunt and uncle. It does not matter about the name. That is up to you.
Thanks for the message.

OK, thanks very much for your reply. I appreciate the info.

Hi, Pooh Bear.
I recently noticed that you had provided some information to Edie Doepel regarding Lizzie Brooks, whose memorial is #28356297. (Edie just transferred the memorial to me, and I've now added Lizzie's full name: Matilda Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Dickerson) Blankenship Brooks. I'm wondering: Are you related to the family, too? (Lizzie's first husband Columbus Blankenship was my great-granduncle). I see you have a virtual cemetery called "Brooks family" so perhaps your connection is through the Brooks'. But I was intrigued to see that you knew that Lizzie was Henry B. Blankenship's mother and Columbus Blankenship's wife (before she married Lewis Brooks). If you are related to the Blankenships I'd love to correspond and share info with you. I'm also wondering if you know where Columbus is buried?
Thank you so much.
