No. No relation. I recently heard Admiral McRaven's Commencement Address to the University of Texas 2014 Class. (It is on You Tube if interested). I thought I'd check his lineage and his grandmother was a Coy married to Dr. Claude McRaven. After checking her lineage I noticed some links. When I see them I let someone know.

Next to Amanda's stone there is a smaller stone that says "Uncle John Wakefield" on it. I have a photo of it, but I can't post it because the photo isn't mine to post. I have since made a note on the memorial/cenotaph? in question. Thanks for contacting me about it.

Ewing McCracken was the son of Robert McCracken and Nancy American McClure. Love the picture of Ewing and Emaline. Have any more pic. of the family. Our Line comes down from Robert to his son William M. McCracken, Ruth McCracken

Jamie, you have duplicated the person above. Could you please get in touch with the original submitter and see which one needs to be deleted. Her name is Stephanie and I am sure she will delete hers since yours has more information. Happy Graving!

I am wondering if you are related to the McRaven/McCraven family in McClure and Tamms area?
