I started doing genealogy about 18 years ago and have been passionate about it ever since. My other interests include my family, Argentine tango, and travel.
I enjoy finding monuments for other people and am extremely grateful to the volunteers who have found my own people for me. Lately I've been working on finding the little pioneer cemeteries in the area and putting their inhabitants online.
Please note that I adhere to Findagrave policy, whether or not you may agree with it:
◊Find A Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website.
◊Find A Grave's secondary purpose is a memorialization/remembrance site.
◊Find A Grave's tertiary purpose is a genealogical resource.
If a listing or contribution corresponds with only the primary purpose, it has fulfilled its part of Find A Grave's mission and is not required to correspond with the secondary and tertiary purposes. Fulfilling the other two is welcomed, encouraged and deeply appreciated, but as far as Find A Grave's purpose goes, a memorial page isn't lacking if it does not.
Transfers are only made within the guidelines set up by Find A Grave. These guidelines are in place for a reason - whether one cares to accept them or not. I am not going to debate what the owner has deemed acceptable for his site with members who choose not to agree with the guidelines. "The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it." I am willing to consider transferring ownership to you if you have a close family member among my records. I rarely transfer relationships more distant than first cousin... just having someone "in my family tree" or "a relative" will not elicit a transfer. Please send me your 8-digit findagrave ID# (at the top of your contributor page) or use the "Edit" function.
Due to the recent increase in abuses of transfer requests, I may not transfer to you if the number of memorials that you manage is significantly greater than the number that you have contributed. Also, I hesitate to transfer memorials to those who do sloppy work, so emails laden with misspellings or other inaccuracies generally are ignored.
I welcome all corrections to my own work. Some records were imported using OCR so have inevitable errors. I am only human and make mistakes, too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Note: Please do not send corrections by posting to my profile. I change these last of all because they frequently lack enough data to change easily. Complaining about my response time will bump you to the very bottom of the list... I am only human and am doing the best I can! Thanks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 | RE: Thomas and Mary Kichline photos You're welcome...I stumbled upon Thomas and wife while looking for someone else and viewing the cemetery from a different angle. Yesterday I met the guy who takes care of the cemetery and he was really open to helping me out. Glad to have that resource. Peace, Nadine | | | Suzie

 | Bill Constant, Prineville OR Thank you very much for posting a picture of my grandfather's headstone. He is in Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville. My grandmother divorced him after 51 years, but she is next to him there, for eternity. I have never and most likely will never get up there again, so this was a most welcome photo. Thank you again, for all you do. | | | Nannette

 | Transfers Hello!
I've seen your contributor name on alot of gravesites that are either mine or my husband's ancestors in several cemeteries around Northampton County, PA I would really love to have them transferred to me.
Can I put the "subject" line as the Cemetery name and then copy and paste the memorial #'s in this message area?
I know it takes alot of work to go out to the cemeteries, take the pictures, upload them and then type up the memorials. It is extremely appreciated! Great work you are doing!
