| Bio and Links | I've been doing genealogy since about 1995. All my ancestral lines who arrived in Alabama from the 1820's to 1840's are Cotton, Wilkes, Brooks, Wynn, Godwin, Lavender, DuBose, Baker, Roberson, Hutto, Salter, and Horne.
I photograph headstones in N. GA near Cherokee Co. and in SE AL when I can get there. | |

 | RE: Robert F. Misseldine thanks............ If it was from Mr. Hayes, chances are that it is absolutely correct. I was curious since there was no tombstone picture, and we were trying to verify the accuracuracy for some documentation that needs to be submitted. Thanks.Added by IronGate on Nov 16, 2012 9:33 PM | | | Judy

 | Joe Sirah Garner; #29403868 Hi,
I found the entry for my gg grandfather, Joe Sirah Garner, who is buried at Evergreen near Ariton, Alabama and noticed a transcription error: his middle name is "Sirah", not Shirah.
Thank you for all of your work. You have done quite a bit.
Regards,
A. GravesAdded by A Graves on Sep 25, 2012 9:02 AM | | | Steven James Coker

 | Cotton Cemetery I am not researching either family, but I have found a death record for the child for which I sent you the information. This child never been included in prior surveys of the cemetery by the name on the death record, but since the initials were the same this was the reason for my asking.Added by IronGate on Jun 01, 2012 6:11 PM | | | Linda
 | Correction for Cotton Cemetery "---, L. A. This grave is for Louisa Ann King, nee' Johnson. Berry H. King was her second husband. The other Johnsons in this cemetery are her siblings and her parents are buried here in unmarked graves. Her father, Isaac Johnson, is buried at the feet of his daughter Elizabeth J. "Lizzie" Hughes (wife of Daniel W. Hughes), in an unmarked grave.Added by Linda on Apr 22, 2012 3:58 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
