Thanks for the link and the information.

Hi, you stated that Joseph Roads did NOT die 11 Aug 1764. He was alive and well as of 24 Nov 1765 when he wrote his will (Frederick Co. VA WB 3 p.351) it was probated 5 August 1766. The traditional yet unproven date of death for Joseph is 6 July 1766. He was probably buried in the Roads Cemetery at Fort Roads. The cemetery called the White House Family Cemetery is much more recent.
I searched Findagrave for a Roads Cemetery and didn't find one, and I searched "Joseph Roads" and didn't see one at such a cemetery. Where can I find more information about the burial location of Joseph Roads? Thanks.

|John Alby harris||Emaline AndersonHarris|
Hello Buck, just saw your note you put on Emaline's link. thanks for giving me the right year of birth,I had the right year but didn't catch that I had put in the wrong one.when I posted her link. According to her Son William Bailey Harris's personel records from the Huntington, Wv Police Department where he was the Police chief, he says his dad's name is Charles B. Harris. did you find a marriage record for Emaline and Charles? John Harris
|John Alby harris||Lun Harris|
Helloo Buck, I had 1869 down as Lun's birthdate but his records at Western State Hospital where he died shows 1867 so I mmade the change. I know that Mary Painter had him and several kids before she Married Erasmusf but don't know for sure if he was not Ras's child out of wedlock. John Harris
|Susie Henderson||Lorenza Lun Harris|
My Grandmother was Sadie Mae (Harris) McCutcheon and her Father was Lorenza Lun Harris and Mother was Emaline or Emeline (Anderson) Harris. I am not sure if you are in the Harris family or not but was wondering if anyone has any photos of Lorenza or Emaline. Hope to hear back from you.

Thank you for posting William Elsey Allison. I believe he is my 2nd great grand uncle. I am particuarly interested in the information you have posted on his parents, who could be my 3rd great grandparents, and where you obtained it. I truly appreciate any information, leads, documents, etc. that you would be willing to share. If I can prove that they are my ancestors, I'd be very glad to share any information I have with you.
|Janice Dean LeMaster||Barbara Strickler Rist|
You are correct. My ancestry shows her born in 1751. That is how her children could have been born in 1777. Thanks for bringing this up. I have notified Steve Irons about this. Caroline Rist married Ephraim Irons, my ancestors.
|Pam Witherow||RE: David William Strickler|
Thank you for letting me know David's proper burial location. Nothing we had here in Knox County, Missouri that I came across gave me a cemetery name.
Again, I thank you so much!
