|One of my favorite hobbies is to do genealogical research. I enjoy linking family members together here on Findagrave.com. Even in death, they deserve to be linked together and their stories to be told.|

|Dorrene Hern||Simon "Sam" Mircea|
So happy to see this listing. This was my father Richard Dragos' Godfather. Would love to learn more. Also, Vicki Albu and I formed the Romanian Genealogy Society in 2011 and have many members from both St. Paul and So. St. Paul area.
Thanks again for posting some family history.
|Paula S Cotterly||Salem Methodist Cemetery|
There are two Salem churches and cemeteries less than a mile apart here in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.
Apparently, there was a rift and a group split and formed another church "down the road." This church is no longer used. I took a picture of the plaques. Among the list of founders' names was Blase. However, all the burial plots were in the cemetery in the church "up the road" as I posted for AH Blase. I tried to post the other pictures, but was limited by the number of pictures I could post.
If you would like the photos of the church, send me your email address.
|Beth Stark||Simon and Cecila Mircea|
Hello! If you could get the plot location of Simon and Cecila Mircea, I will try to find them. Beth Stark
Hi, I have been to their plot several times and Emilie and John do not have stones. So, I am going to upload a photo of the plot area and will make notes in the caption as to who is buried there.

I checked section 31 row 8 grave 6 today and there is a stone for a Georg Groebner (1882-1909). I added a memorial for him, but Ancestry lists his parents as Anthony and Margaret. If he is related to you, I'll transfer the memorial. Just let me know.

Okay, so now you have me curious...LOL. I looked at Mary on the 1940 census and saw that she lived on Iglehart. My hunch based on that address was that she was buried at Calvary Cemetery in St Paul. I called them and she is in fact buried there.
Her location is Section 78, Block 13, Lot 26, Grave #2. Now you can make a memorial for her and request a photo.
No one else with that name is buried with her (since she is in grave #2) and the woman I talked to was not at the location to look up who is in Grave #1.
If you want to contact them and find that out another day, call 651.488.8866.
I took the original picture of Otto Yanke's marker at Ft Snelling, and I know for a fact that there is no one on the back of his marker. Very few of those markers have anyone on the back.
I did take a new photo today to give you more of a scenic shot of his grave (his stone is harder to read since it is an older style one) and added it to the memorial.
