|About 30 years ago, after a move from the west/mid west to the Philadelphia area, I was asked to try and find some info on a Prough Revolutionary ancestor. Not having ties to the area and friends over 2000 miles away I needed something to fill my days while the family was away at school and work. So I took it on and changed my life forever. |
Became facinated with the old tombstones and the history you could find on them. And became aware of how much that info can help someone and that a lot of people just cannot make it to each and every cemetery of their ancestors themselves.
My genealogy friend and cousin Brian Smead introduced me to Find A Grave and I hope to help some one a little in return for all the help I have received through the years.

Do you mind if I copy the cemetery photo to my family tree? Thank you.

While I am not directly related to any of the people buried there, I would be glad to take care of this cemetery.

Yvonne, I came upon the picture you took of Susan M. (O'Neal) Sale's grave in Union Center Cemetery in Crawford County, Kansas. She was the 1st wife of Charles Edward Sale. After her death, he married my gr-grandmother's younger sister Louise Grace Carey. He and Louie (her nickname) are buried at Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg. What I am interested in is the inscription on the base of Susan's grave. Do you still have the original picture and if so, can you decipher what the base says? I have the birth/death info but would also like to add the inscription to my family info. Thanks, Pat
My wife and I searched the whole small cemetery. There are a lot of Hofstetter there and several "OLD" very well worn ones that cannot be read. She may be one of these - but we could not read them.

I was wondering if someone could add Sally and Wally as children of grandma and grandpas. I'm not sure how to. Wally recently passed away and he has children and grand children not listed. Polly's sons are listed but not her grand children.I don't know the person who added info about Polly but I do know about the later part of her life as she was still living with grandpa before passing away from cervical cancer.
I think it would be great to add the rest of the family to their relatives list including the names of their grand children. I am a great grand child and my son and nephew are the great great grand children of Annette and Lee. I just think it would be nice especially if cousins, like you were, searching for more info on people who are still living and not just deceased.

Sure, that would be fine if it's no trouble for you. Thanks very much.

Can you please delete the photograph of Antone Dulier's tombstone that cuts the first and last parts of his name off, as you did replace it with a complete picture. Thank you

I have information for you about him. His birthday was Dec 1, not 11. He was born in Bas-Rhin, France.
Michael Krieg is my ggg grandfather. If you are not related to him, may I request a transfer?
Thank you very much.
